Robin was sitting with her back against a tree, bending over a small back notebook she was scribbling fervently in. She was officially freaked out. No matter where she turned, there always seemed to be another student with scary powers, waiting to pop out and be all... All friendly to her.

So she'd tried to escape, braving marshes and a tiny bit of a forest and a whole lot of streams and rivers (that part she didn't mind - she'd never seen running water like that) before she'd gotten to where she was now. It was most definitely worth it.

There was a tiny little stream to one side of her, bubbling happily to itself as it poured along to wherever it was headed. The ground was coated with thick moss, and a grove of tall trees obscured the place from anyone who dared walk by. Which, so far, was no one, so Robin was happy.

She hummed happily, some old Nat King Cole song she'd heard on the car ride down - the driver'd played classics the entire way, and now she couldn't get them out of her brain. Not that that was a bad thing - songs about love were nice, right? She didn't exactly understand them, but it didn't make them bad. She yawned, signing the entry with her nickname - well, it wasn't exactly her nickname, but she thought it might be if she got close enough to someone. Didn't matter, anyway. She dissmissed the thought sleepily, slipping deeper and deeper into the clutches of sweet unconsciousness. In less then five minutes, she was asleep.

She blamed the stream.

Wilderness... stupid. Starlight already had, what, five forests? I guess this just helps you get in tune with nature or something, Danica thought to herself. Like, forests are just trees. But there's some water here. She shrugged.

Anyway, who cared? Danica was just sick of eating and doing homework in that stupid school. She missed cross country.

So she'd decided to go running today. She pulled on a pair of pink sweatpants and a white t-shirt and clipped her iPod to the top of her pants. Since no one besides her was outside, she screamed along to the lyrics as she ran.

She'd set the songs playing to shuffle, so she never new what was coming next- if it was going to be an angry metal band, or an old retro-80s Madonna, which was currently playing.

"Star light! Star bright! Da da da da da da..." Dani sang, incredibly off-key as she ran through the leaves. She was surprised- the forest was mainly flat. Not many hills. Lucky, though, hills were killer to run up.

She paused and leaned against a tree. She wished she'd brought water.

Wait- what was that? Sounded like water. She shoved past a thick knot of trees and saw a stream. Sha-weet! No, wait it was probably poison, or something.

Danica noticed a girl laying next to the stream. "Hey," she called. "Do you know if this is okay to drink?" She walked closer. "Oh, hey, Robin!" she said, remembering she'd met the girl earlier. Then she noticed- Robin was asleep. Crap! She hoped she hadn't woken her up.

She mumbled something in her sleep about the prince putting poison in the water, slowly waking. Was someone there? Someone was... Calling her name. She jerked awake, jumping up before the fog had left her eyes and banging her head on a low branch, promptly sitting back down again and cursing quietly. The pain awakened her Lithium-fuled headache, which begain eating at the back of her head again; for a moment her vision tunneled with the pain, finally focusing on a pair of bright pink sweatpants.

She turned her gaze upwards, struggling for a moment to place the girl - it was normally hard for her to remember a face, but she'd met so many people the past day she was even worse then ever. Fortunately, this girl stood out from the rest - "Danica?" She mumbled, blinking her eyes a few times and feeling confident enough to reaffirm herself - "Danica. Flippin' crap this hurts." She cupped some freezing water from the stream unto her forehead, attempting to lessen the pain - had the doctor said cold water, or warm water? - and stood up again, careful to duck out of the way of the branch. "Once again, I ask - is this a popular place? What're you doing here?" Her tone was harsh, although it was obvious she wasn't a bit mad at the girl - her head just hurt too much for her to soften it.

Danica watched, eyes wide, and Robin sat up quickly, banged her head on a tree

"Dios, mio, I am soooo sorry!!!! I didn't mean to wake you up!!" Danica knelt down. Robin looked at her, squinting, obviously in pain, before responding with a "Danica?"

Danica sighed. "Oh, god, are you okay? I am super, super, super sorry." She winced as Robin splashed water on her forehead.

Then she smiled as Robin relaxed.

Once again, I ask - is this a popular place?"

"Sorry to disappoint you, but no, it's not. I've never actually been here before, I hope I'm not lost... Anyway, I was just going running. What are you doing here? Besides, sleeping, which I am sorry about again..."
