Name: Alice Mierz
Age: Mental Age - 25, Physical Age - 25 or 17 or 12
Birthday: January 1st
Gender: Female/None
Species: Pathogen/Bacteria/Parasitic Organism ((All Inclusive))
Category: Student
Class: Elementary / High School / College
Grade: 6th Grade or 11th Grade
College Major: Microbiology
Appearance Description: Red Eye Color, Pale white skin, Often times seen in black and white dresses that are typically very ornate or fancy in design with many frills. As she grows older, her dresses will change into slimmer simpler summer dresses and gowns that are easier to move in. As she ages further, her dresses will become very revealing and show-y cocktail dresses and evening wear. Her blonde hair is often curled, forming long drills as a child, shoulder length curls as a teen before becoming short shaggy curls as an adult. Her height is standard throughout her varying ages, and her weight is often incredibly heavy, unreasonable for a normal human being despite her slim appearance.
Personality Description: Alice is very stoic and indifferent to the world around her, without having been socialized, she has no idea how to properly display her feelings for others and because of that they rarely rise to the surface. Alice can usually be seen or misunderstood as someone introverted because of her tendency to maintain silence and not speak her opinion but in truth she is very curious about others and friendly to a fault. Alice has almost no fear of death or harm, as a bacteria and pathogen, her death is unlikely if not completely impossible therefore the loss of her body or some limbs is something she tends to react to with the same blandness as everything else. The only thing that will typically get a rise out of her are people playing with the few feelings she has, or harming those she cares about or feeds from. Alice tends to be very protective of her hosts and isn't afraid to waste her body and mass defending them in crisis situations.
Active Abilities:
Consume - Alice has the ability to absorb objects, materials and energies by wrapping her body around them. The process will only take a few seconds if the target doesn't struggle, and during the process Alice's body becomes malleable and almost gel-like in it's flexibility and consistency. Objects consumed, do not die and are not destroyed but are instead broken down, compressed and studied.
Adapt - Alice has the ability to adapt consumed materials, energies and cells into her own body weaponizing them. This isn't simply limited to attaching things to her body, and instead can be used to strip metal to fashion tools, borrow the bones or flesh of her consumed subjects or create energy weapons using consumed energies. Alice is very skilled at producing all manner of things using consumed materials as the instinct to do so comes from her very core.
Symbiosis - Alice has the ability to instead invert the consuming process and instead, melt herself into her target instead, becoming a second skin that may be unnoticeably thin and difficult to detect, or as thick as armor. Alice's Symbiosis targets become Hosts allowing her to use them to sustain herself in the future, but when not needing to feed, Alice's symbiosis can be used to cooperate with an ally or become a living hazard.
Passive Abilities:
Increased Constitution - Alice's body is incredibly sturdy and heavy, her skin is incredibly dense despite it's soft appearance making it difficult to break through in one go and her weight makes it hard to lift her off of her feet to use her durability against her. In times of crisis, Alice's body will take incredible amounts of punishment without causing her lasting harm or crippling her.
Sublimation - As a Pathogen/Bacteria/Parasitic Organism, Alice's existence is very stubborn and tenacious making it difficult to truly kill or end her. Even if her main body might die, with time, remnants left behind, whether scraps from her damaged body or remains in her host bodies will begin to consume and grow until they rebuild eventually becoming Alice once more with enough time. The particular remnants chosen are often those who are closest in mass to her child-like size to allow her to return to some humanoid shape as quickly as possible. When there is no such option however, the alternative remnant will be the one who is in the safest situation. Regardless, once reduced to this state, Alice will not be able to re-enter conflict.
Heightened Instincts - While Alice is not particularly fast or agile, she has incredible instincts allowing her to perceive and adapt to threats as they occur. In times of crisis, even if her body is slow, she'll often take action as the threat is revealing itself defending and counterattacking preemptively with timely predictions and accurate foresight. Unfortunately this is only limited to things that danger her and her hosts, making it difficult for her to react to or deal with other external threats and issues.
Mysterious Biology - While Alice's abilities are unique and interesting, it is difficult for others to imitate her active abilities without being like her. Those who aren't themselves Pathogens, Bacteria or Parasites won't be able to copy her active abilities if they don't first have the ability to become the same type of creature as her to support them.
Radiate - While easy to miss in most cases, Alice does have a unique aura. More often then not, this aura will go unnoticed and cause no real effects whether negative nor positive, to the point where it might be hard to notice she even has one. In rare instances when she encounters another person with a radiant aura however, Alice's aura will reveal itself as it begins to assimilate and increasing the subject's intensity with the power of her own aura. In Alice's presence, other people's auras become much stronger, turning good into great and bad into worse.
Weaknesses:
Sustenance - Alice's nature as a Pathogen/Bacteria/Parasitic Organism makes her somewhat vulnerable as her species might suggest. While that doesn't mean she's weak to simple anti-bacterial creams and bleaches, it does mean that she will have a difficult time surviving without at least one host body to support her daily needs. While this partnership will provide her host with the benefits of Alice's support and protection, it comes with the cost of increasing the host's Hunger and Thirst when connected to Alice as she feeds from what her host feeds on. This symbiotic relationship is one most will know about Alice as she's not afraid to welcome new hosts at any time.
Consent - While Alice seems superhuman in her various abilities, strength and durability, she does have one weakness in being slow to act. This doesn't simply come from her weight but also from her unique Biology. Alice herself is made up from a variety of Pathogens/Bacteria/Parasitic Organisms, and while this is normally an advantage, when acting it can become a weakness as these micro-organisms need to come to a consensus with every action Alice takes. Every step, every word and movement requires these separate organisms to cooperate and work together creating some lag in her movements and actions.
Common Magical Items:
Aura Warning Bracelet: While not actually magical, Manta Carlos distributes customized bracelets for those with auras. Depending on the shape and color, people can tell at a glance the approximate range and nature of the aura of the wearer.
Biography: Alice remembers little of her birth, viewing the world from the interior of a glass or plastic box with no means of escape as men in white coats poked and prodded her. Back then she had little in the way of intelligence or emotion, and instead remembers only fear and hostility from the constant poking and testing performed on her in that box. That all changed one day when a strange group of young men and women charged into the examination room with signs and colorful shirts. This group quickly attacked the testers and scientists before releasing the other creatures that had once been Alice's food. Upon seeing her squirming in a box as a fleshy slug, she too was released only for her to finally lash out at the one opening the box consuming them. One by one she swallowed those people, the ones who charged in and the scientists who examined her.
Over time, Alice began to adapt, sifting through what she'd received from those strange creatures only to realize the best of what they had was their intelligence. She spent a long time in that dusty lab just sorting through their collective memories and knowledge, discarding the things she felt were useless and keeping the ones that would be useful for her survival. In the end, Alice was discovered first by officers and police who'd been following leads on a missing person's case only to be swallowed by her as well, consumed and broken apart for their knowledge. Finally acquiring some useful weapons in the form of the officer's fire arms and tasers, Alice began to squirm and leave the lab buildings before she was stopped by bright lights.
At first, trying to assimilate those people who obstructed her as she did before, she found they were much harder to fight even with her guns and equipment as they threw various flames and different powers to restrain her. In the end, she stopped fighting, finding that it was useless until she was finally welcomed by a mysterious woman who tried communicating with her. At first, the woman seemed suspicious, clearly testing the waters to see if she was something to be saved or if it was better off destroying her. Her instincts told her that if she couldn't pacify the situation, her body would be damaged beyond repair, and so she adapted the organs to reply. After a lengthy conversation, and a series of examinations, Alice managed to adapt a human shape to better fit in, and learn how to fit in enough to satisfy that woman who threatened her. Alice herself didn't care much for whether or not she followed the rules, but she understood that refusing would be much more harmful and inefficient... Therefore Alice took the woman's advice and began to take classes on the unknown and mysterious island with the intentions of socializing herself to better fit in with Human Society.
Resources: Nothing she hasn't already Assimilated into her Body
Additional Information: Alice isn't completely aware of what she is either, and isn't particularly motivated to find out exactly what she is. Perhaps there are other organisms like her out there in the universe that others would know about, but she herself has little interest in that, and instead merely wants to live a happy life, eating, consuming and growing.
