Aimlessly wandering, looking for a roomie...

Danica smiled, breathing in the air that was... well... Starlight. She dragged a suitcase behind her as she headed towards the dorms, a few more outside on the lawn.

She grinned to herself, and noticed a girl looking a bit lost in the hallway. She hitched off her backpack, as it was slipping off of her shoulder because it was crammed with so much stuff, and smiled.

"Hey," she said, smiling, her English a little bit rusty because of the summer spent with her Spanish grandmother. She set her suitcase down and rubbed her foot inside the fuzzy turquoise Uggs on her feet.

"I'm Danica, or Danni," she said, tucking a strand of hair behind her ears. It was currently blonde, with a few streaks of turquoise, her lucky color, here and there. She changed her mind, and pulled the strand out again, twirling it around her fingers. "Got a roommate yet?"

Danica combed the strand of hair through her fingers, nodding to the girl's question. "Mmmhmm." Now was the part where she said, "you wanna share a room?"

So she said it. "Kayla... you wanna share a room?" She watched the girl. She seemed friendly enough, sort of hyper and nice. She'd be okay for a roommate. This year, she was determined to make friends at Starlight, instead of "aquaintances."
