"Well, that must suck, having to change every night. Don't you get a bit bored wandering around all night? I mean, what do you do?"

She shrugged lightly. When she's in her day form, it does suck to change every night, and for her right now, it sucks to change into her day form, it was a odd thing, and could be quite confusing.

"I do normally what I would in the day, I sometimes read, or play piano, or anything I feel like. I like to wander halls though, even if I can't see. Thats why I asked for your help to get me out of this hall... I lost my way." She said, but grumbled the last part. She hated getting lost.

"But, don't you get a bit bored wandering around all night? I mean, what do you do?"

She smirked faintly again. "I don't get bored... ever really. Nor do I tire. I never get bored, and never sleep. Now when I think more about it, its very strange and confusing." She said, but still paid little attention to how odd it may seem.

Shell gave a small shrug. "But still, doesn't it get a bit lonely? I mean I doubt you hang out all by yourself during the day, right?" He ha a slight feeling that Blessed was the same kind of girl during the day than the one he oh so recently met at night. "Well, don't worry, I'll help you find an exit." And me too, Shell added in his mind.

"I don't get bored... ever really. Nor do I tire. I never get bored, and never sleep. Now when I think more about it, its very strange and confusing."

Dean nodded, almost forgetting that Blessed couldn't see him agree with her. Nor could she have seen him when he shrugged only moments earlier. "Not so much confusing as strange, I think," Shell said. He looked up ahead and stopped a bit suddenly. He had reached some sort of fork in the hall. Go left or go right. Both led to complete and utter darkness, but he had no idea which one to choose. Shell took a deep breath and decided to go left, but just in case he went the wrong way, he conjured up a palm-sized fireball and left it floating at the beginning of the fork. You could never be too sure.

"But still, doesn't it get a bit lonely? I mean I doubt you hang out all by yourself during the day, right?"

She shrugged, and her eyes looked into the darkness, since darkness was all she saw at night. "I suppose it can get lonely at night sometimes, but I like being alone sometimes. But my day form is... more outgoing and barely ever alone." She said, and wondered what time it was now, she never bothered to check the time, since she couldn't even if she wanted.

"Well, don't worry, I'll help you find an exit."

She nodded slightly in thanks.

"Not so much confusing as strange, I think,"

She also thought it strange, even if it was her powers, but she wasn't even really sure why she had it, or how she got them, it was always a foggy memory. She heard him start to walk, and she followed, by listening to his footsteps. Once again, the dust that was stirred up just went through her phasing. She folded her hands as she went, then when she heard the boy stop, she did too, and wondered why a moment.

"Where are we now?" Sure it seemed like a odd question, but not for her, not since she was blind.

"I suppose it can get lonely at night sometimes, but I like being alone sometimes. But my day form is... more outgoing and barely ever alone."

Well Shell would definitely like to meet her other side soon. "So it's like you're night and day form are almost complete opposites?" He glanced down at his watch, curious as to what time it was. If they were still hanging out by the time the sun came up, he would be able to see her change into her other, probably more cheerful, form. Though a part of him did like the night form; there was something mysterious about her, he just didn't know what.

"Where are we now?"

Shell wasn't exactly sure how to answer her question. They were walking through an empty hall, that was for sure, but he wasn't exactly sure where in the empty hall. And he couldn't quite say that because he'd sound too much like a smart-alec. "We should be close to an exit soon," he lied. But all Shell really needed was a decent sized window, , the only ones around were small and a bit too high up. But if he was able to find a window of a decent size, he'd be able to look out and see either what floor they were on or how close they were to an exit.

"So it's like you're night and day form are almost complete opposites?"

She was somewhat annoyed with all the question about what she was, but any signs of that was not found on her face. She gave a slight nod. "I suppose you could say that." She said. She let her hands fall to her sides again, the long bell sleeves fell over them.

"We should be close to an exit soon,"

She turned her gaze towards him, and for a moment wondered what he looked like, but that thought left as fast as it had come. She didn't quite believe him when he said that, but since she couldn't see, she wasn't able to see if he was telling the truth or not. She decided to try and trust him.

Just then another blast of freezing cold air blew around Blessed and made her fall to her knees. She looked frantically around, and wrapped her arms around herself. She bowed her head, and closed her milky shimmering eyes. Every night, a blast of air always came around, but she never understood why. If she could see, she would have seen a ghostlike figure disappearing around a corner up ahead.

The following events that occurred seemed so strange to Shell, he had no idea whether it was real or not. Typical but true.

As he constantly looked about for some sort of sign that they were nearing any kind of exit, Blessed had fallen to her knees. He didn't actually realize it at first, but when he had looked back to glance at her, he realized it. She was on her knees, arms wrapped around her as if she was cold. She was also looking around frantically, even though she couldn't see. Strange, but he wasn't going to continue asking her things, he'd asked enough for one night.

Shell quickly jogged over to Blessed's side, knelt down beside her and asked, "What happened? What's wrong?" Blessed's eyes were closed, but Shell had absolutely no idea what had happened to her. It wasn't until a few seconds later that Shell recalled seeing something pass him as he went to Blessed's side. He look up ahead, and was just able to catch a quick glimpse of what it was. It looked almost like a ghost, but he couldn't tell at all, since all he had managed to see was the tip of some ghost-like thing disappearing through a wall.

Blessed continue to clench at herself, and shuddered. Her eyes stayed closed. She barely took any notice of the sound of Shell coming towards her. Her pale translucent skin and hair seemed to go even more see through. Her hair fell over her face.

"What happened? What's wrong?"

To her, the voice seemed distant, even if he was right there. She slowly shook her head. "I don't know... its... happened before." She said, and shudder, then she managed to look up slightly, but her eyes stayed closed.

"Did you see something? Anything?" She asked, her voice seemed to tremble slightly.

"I don't know... its... happened before."

What do you mean 'it's happened before'? What happened?" Shell stared at Selia, she looked up but kept her eyes closed. Like that would make a difference.

"Did you see something? Anything?"

Shell looked back at the corner where he had seen that 'thing' disappear through the wall. "I...I think so. I think I saw some sort of ghostly thing disappear through a wall..."

"What do you mean 'it's happened before? What happened?"

Blessed took in a deep, calming breath, and opened her milky eyes, that seemed to swirl oddly. "Do you believe in ghosts?" She asked in a odd voice, that didn't sound like hers exactly. She relaxed slightly, and stopped hugging herself. Her white strand of hair fell in her face, and she moved to pull it behind her ear, but instead her hand just phased through it, and she put her hand on her lap, as if she had pulled it back.

"I...I think so. I think I saw some sort of ghostly thing disappear through a wall..."

She sighed. "Then its not gone. It disappears when it leaves, at least, thats what my aunt tells me." She said. She spoke almost as if this was the most common thing in the world, it was to her, at least.

"Do you believe in ghosts?"

Does he believe in ghosts? What kind of strange, random question was that? Well, actually it wasn't all that random, he did after all see some sort of ghost-like thing pass through the wall oh-so-recently. "Well, yeah...I guess you could say that I believe in ghosts. But, what does that have to do with you?" It probably had everything to do with Blessed, but for the moment, Shell wasn't at his best...it was already 4:45 in the morning.

"Then its not gone. It disappears when it leaves, at least, thats what my aunt tells me."

Shell scratched the back of his head in pure and utter confusion. He was definitely out of the loop. He barely understood at all what Blessed was saying. "Blessed, you've really got to tell me what's going on."
