Zora was often good at spotting things and knew that sometimes the oddest things were often the truth. The girl before looked like she could have sisters, and as strange as it sounded Zora suspected the last one might be true.

"I think the lie is the one about fighting a bear."

This game was new for Ria so she had been fully prepared that Zora would spot her lie. But the woman guessed wrong, and Ria shook her head.
"No, that's true. I first touched the ground when I was 7, not 11."
Ria felt a strange rush from this victory, and glanced at Joseph whose rush showed clearly on his face as joy and cockiness. Ria hoped he wouldn't use his power again and inspire Ria without her permission. Last time that had happened it had been...humiliating.
"Your turn next."

Zora just nodded, aware of at the fact that the girl had done very much what she had done by altering slightly what would have been a correct answer to make it wrong. It was a good strategy,

"I am a witch." Zora said with a small smile, "My magic is non-elemental magic, runic magic. I can tell when somebody is cursed. I am cannot be bound by magic."

These were more interesting facts, since Ria was very much curious about magical abilities. So the woman was a witch. Ria leaned forward slightly and frowned, thinking. Next to her Joseph was doing small thumbs up at her.
Ria had no way of knowing outwards, what the woman's magic was. So this time she really had to just guess.
"It's a lie you cannot be bound by magic."

"Actually that is a truth. I can't be cursed," Zora said with a grin, "I am actually a water witch. I can manipulate water. I am terrible with runes." she laughed. They both had a loss now.

"Your turn," Zora said as she looked at her regalia and got an approving nod.

Ria's other ear quirked a bit when she guessed wrong, she felt slightly irritated. That same feeling was multiplied in Joseph who very visibly pouted and almost made Ria sigh again. Ria thought carefully about her next truths and lie.
"I have never directed the words "I love you" to anyone, half of the people in my village do not know my name, I am a virgin."
Ria was trying to say very personal statements to make it more hard to guess, and she would most probably not see this person again so it did not matter if Ria revealed some personal facts.

At her words, Zora actually looked at the young woman again, thoughtfully considering her, trying to judge which statement did not suit her.

"All three statements could be true in equal measure. You don't look old enough to have fallen completely and madly in love yet, however..." Zora added, "I love you could be easily said to a family member," she surmised, not about to comment on the sexuality of the girl. Zora had actually been having sex since she was fourteen and so she knew that could easily be true or false. She also didn't feel right about saying Ria wasn't a virgin, somehow, Zora thought it might be insulting and steered away from the topic.

"I think the I love you statement is the lie," she said looking at Ria calmly.

Ria did feel slightly squirmy when the woman started analyzing the statements outloud, but didn't react in any way, just looked at the woman with a stoic expression. Eventually she made her guess, and guessed wrong. Ria did not show how pleased she was about this, and simply shook her head.
"The third of my statements was a lie."
Ria did not want to consciously repeat the words 'I am not a virgin' to a stranger.

Zora was not shocked to hear the girl wasn't a virgin, it had been at the back of her mind that it might be the correct answer but she hadn't felt she could state that. What did actually shock her was that the girl had never said I love you to anyone before, and found herself, without warning saying what was on her mind,

"You should you know. Tell people how you feel," Zora said as she looked at the girl kindly, "I almost lost someone I care for deeply, someone I love, and the idea of him not ever knowing, or him dying and not knowing, makes me... " here she stopped, she couldn't describe the anguish she felt at almost losing Broen, it had been undeniably heart-wrenching, and she didn't want others to be like she had been. Closed up and not wanting to let someone in, or not letting others know that she actually cared.

Ria had not been expecting that the woman would offer advice, especially on emotions, and she caught her completely off-guard. Next to them Joseph observed the situation with immense curiosity and Ria wanted to smack him. Ria just stared at the woman with confusion and disbelief and felt quite flustered. And it didn't help that a certain person popped into Ria's mind as the woman adviced Ria to tell people how she felt. Ria stood up abruptly on the bench, her expression a stoic mask.
"I appreciate your input. I believe this means my victory, correct? So please excuse me, I, we, need to resume our run."
Ria glanced at Joseph and her eyes had the look of "for once shut up and just do as I say."
