Zora was quite surprised when Broen mentioned he had been disowned, but said nothing. She guessed that might be a conversation for another time, and she really didn't want to talk about anything disagreeable or that might stir up bad memories. She was just enjoying the moment, enjoying that Broen seemed better, happier.
Squeezing his hand back, Zora gazed down at it and then back at him softly, "I have been... okay, not great, but okay." then after a second, "I've missed you actually," she admitted softly. It was strange not having him around all the time, and she missed him, and his company.
"Officer Genovese's place? ... That's good, I'm glad actually," she admitted, not too surprised at that, "He's a good man," Zora added as she met Broen's gaze. "And you? How are things with you?" she asked, searching his face, needing to know if he was okay or not.
