Gask was at his usual spot at his usual time. He enjoyed routine. It made things easy, let him focus on thinking about things that mattered. Routine was honestly one of Gask's favorite things about this world.

He also enjoyed the lake at the academy. He didn't swim in it like other students did. He used it as a metronome of sorts. The lapping of the water at the bank was an excellent pace to keep himself at as he practiced his Tai Chi.

He was just finishing up this afternoon's work out, putting his shoes back on and packing up his bag. But he didn't leave immediately. He had a challenge for the game of Divine Right today. Mister Glister had insisted he actually compete with someone for once. So Gask had put up a request on social media.

One Ms. Celeste Forestier had responded. A teacher. Home economics. A skill he had very little practical knowledge in, truth be told. He checked his watch.

Heading down to the lake, Celeste noticed that it was a warm, clear and very peaceful day. There weren't many students around today, she wasn't sure why since the term had already started. As she approached the water's edge with Mr. Parsons on her arm, she had a fleeting thought that she would miss the old codger.

"Celeste, my dear," Mr. Parsons said as he patted her hand. "It's okay. I know we are not really suited, although I must say that it has been a pleasure seeing you compete," he said as looked at the young woman and smiled at her fondly. "Come, let's meet your challenger," he urged as they finally made their way over to the man standing near the lake.

"Mr. Gask?" Celeste inquired as she studied the man before her.

Gask turned as he heard someone call out his name. "Ms. Forestier, I presume?" The quick, not so subtle sound of someone clearing their throat newrby cussed Gask to turn. Mister Glister, his own Regalia, was shaking his head as he approached.

"Gask, my friend. You can't be like this. Especially not when you talk to a lovely lady, yeah? You have to smile a bit and lose some of that edge in your voice."
Gask could only sigh. They had been through this argument more times than he cared to remember. "I am trying, Mr. Glister."

It certainly didn't look like he was. Gask remained almost completely flat and monotone in the way he spoke. He used no body language, no hand gestures. His face showed no emotion save for his eyes, that looked at everything as.though he could bore a hole through things with willpower alone.

"I apologize for tge disruption, Ms. Forestier. Regardless. I assume you are here for our challenge, then? Do you have anything specific for us to do? I am essentially open for any kind of challenge."

Celeste glanced up at the older man and smiled, amused, he reminded her of Mr. Parsons in a way. Yet, she had a better feeling about him. Yes, this regalia would possibly be a better fit for her.

"Yes, I am Miss Forestier, but please do call me, Celeste," she said with a friendly smile, very used to all walks of life and not offended by Gask´s apparent lack of enthusiasm.

"Mr. Parsons and I," she said looking at her regalia now, and then at Gask, "thought a guessing game might be appropriate for the challenge. Maybe 20 questions? Or riddles?" she said as she glanced at Mr. Glister and smiled, before returning her gaze to Gask, "Or something else? Your choice really..." she said open to suggestions.

"Twenty questions. That is where I attempt to guess an idea you are thinking of by asking up to twenty yes or no questions, correct? That sounds fine by me..."

Gask adjusted his bag over his shoulder and nodded once. "I suppose you can start as the answerer then."

"Okay, give me a moment to think of a few things to ask," Celeste said and thought for a moment in some possible questions- She looked at Mr. Parsons briefly and was given an encouraging nod, and so she started asking questions.

The questions ranged from the typical ones pertaining to size and state like if it was bigger than a keyboard, or if it was alive to whether it had wings, if it was colourful or was nocturnal. After nine tries, the last one being if it could be found among flowers, she then made a final guess,

"I think it might be a butterfly," she said to Gask, thinking that it might also be a ladybug, but going with her first instinct.

"That is correct. That was ten questions, yes?"

Gask nodded and started his round of questions. He wasn't sure where to begin, but after his fourth or so question he started to think it might have something to do with cooking, since she was a home economics teacher. Maybe that was too cliche? He was right about that though.

After his eighth guess, he paused, closing his eyes. "Is it a whisk?"

Celeste grinned, "Yes, it is a whisk."

Looking at Gask, Celeste pondered what he could have thought of. She wondered if maybe it had something to do with himself like the object she had thought of. But after 10 questions, she began to realise that it may not be, maybe it was just an ordinary object and not something related to him.

"Is it a book?" she asked still rather unsure that it was the correct answer or not.

"That is correct." Gask actually gave a faint smile at that. "Books are some of my favorite things about this world."

Now it was his turn to guess. He fumboed along, asking more questions than Celeste had had to in order to arrive at the fact that it was some sort of jewelry. He had nearly guessed a bra when she off-handedly mentioned that it was normally work by women more than men. He finally guessed.

"A ring?"

Celeste nodded, "Yes, it is..."

Again it was her turn, she asked Gask a few questions, and quickly found out it was used by police. Thinking about that, she then guessed a badge, handcuffs - which were both wrong. Frowning slightly, Celeste thought again about policemen and what they used, she finally realised that it could only be one thing really.

"Is it a gun?" she asked curiously.
