Private Finished [agodr} A Game of Wits

A tall and very pretty young woman, about 30, with short black hair walked confidently beside Noel, as they chatted comfortably about the game of rights, herself, life in general, the other contestants. Her name was Maiden Greensleeves and she was quite enthusiastic about having Noel as her partner.

As they entered the park, she pointed out Noel's first contender. "He's over there. And honestly, I think you might suggest a game of wits. He looks like the type," she said stated as she looked over the young man and saw him as a good match for Noel. Yes, the challenge would be interesting.

Noel saw the young man to whom Maiden was referring, and felt a tiny smile tugging at the corner of his mouth, "He looks young," Noel said with a playful wink at Maiden Greensleeves.

"And you are ancient, old man," she quipped back.

Laughing at this, Noel grinned. "Okay, okay, I'll go and challenge him."

"You better, old man, you know what I can do if you don't," she threatened playfully, not at all serious.

"Slave driver.." Noel laughed as he looked at Aren again.

"Hello there, my friend, I believe, we have a challenge to do. How about a nice game of wits? Maybe something like riddles or a guessing game?" Noel suggested as he walked over to where Aren was.

"Wonderful!" Noel said when the young man accepted. "A guessing game it is."

"So we can do riddles or definitions if you want? You choose. And... The first one to get it wrong loses? Or do you prefer 2 out of 3?" Noel asked him politely.

"That sounds fair." Noel agreed, "I will go first if you don't mind? Age before " he said as he looked at the younger man.

"What has hands but cannot clap?" he asked with a grin. It wasn't too hard in his opinion.

"It is indeed a clock," he said with a nod, "Your turn now." Noel said as he regarded the young man in front of him.
