"Wow, you are good... fast too," Sterling admitted impressed as he watched the cups move quickly across the picnic table top. "I thnk it in the middle again," he said truthfully as he eyed the cups before him.

Ava snickered, laying out some good spirited sarcasm, and lifted the middle cup. It was empty. Ava lifted the other cups too and was slightly surprised that the ball was under the right cup.
"'Kay, now the last one."
Ava put the ball under the middle cup and started shuffling again, this time tad faster than previously. Ava almost let the ball slip from under the cups a couple of times bit after a minute of furious shuffling she stopped with a small grin. She had no idea where the ball was.

"Hell yeah I'm fast. Now show me how fast you can be. You got 2 out of 3, I gotta guess all right or also get 2 right, and then we do a new round, a tiebreaker."

Looking at the cups before him, Sterling put the ball under the far left cup, then he moved them around quickly - trying to do it as seamlessly as Ava had, and to his surprise, he did it quite well, not as good as her, but not bad at all. Trying not to glance down, Sterling knew the ball was still in the far left cup.
"Where do you think it is?" he asked her with a grin.

Ava leaned forward before Sterling started shuffling, and stared at the cups unblinking when he started. He was very fast but Ava's eyes were sharp and when Sterling finished shuffling she smiled a bit and just pointed at the left cup confidently.
Sterling raised an eyebrow when she picked the left cup. Lifting it up, he saw that, yes, she had chosen well. "Good eye!" he said.
"Let's see if I can do better?" Sterling told Ava as he placed the ball under the middle cup now and moved the cups smoothly along the table, back and forth and around each other to the point that he wasn't even that sure where the ball was anymore.

Ava snickered and again focused her gaze on the cups as Sterling started ahuffling. It was faster this time, and towards the end Ava lost track lf the right cup. She looked between all the cups and finally picked the one on thw right and pointed at it.

Sterling actually shrugged here at Ava's guess. "I don't really know, let's take a look," he said honestly as he lifted the one she had picked, sort of expecting to see and when it wasn't there, Sterling glanced up at her and uncovered the two others at the same time. Surprisingly, the ball was actually under the middle cup.
"Okay, one more try," Sterling said as he covered up the red ball and then quickly slid the cups around the table like last time, stopping after a few seconds, now waiting patiently while letting Ava choose again.

Ava clicked her tongue a bit when she guessed wrong. She had to guess the next one right if she wanted to win this thing. She let Sterling do his thing but Ava lost track of the ball again somewhere in the middle of the shuffling. Ava frowned at the cups, and firmly pointed at the left cup.
