Percy sat on the shore, his attaire a black outfit with a black hoodie, not a piece of skin showing for his own safety reasons. He looked at the shoreline watching happy people. He had a angry look on his face. He opened the book he was holding in his lap and start to furiously write something.

"January 1, 2007,

Today marks the beggining of the New Year, Wahoo?!! Not... This year shall reek worse than last, no one has a interest for a 400 year old trapped in a stupid 14 year old body. This is prison, I hate it, if I could kill the creep who made me a vampire I would. Sadly someone else did that, now I have to act like I'm not upset. What am I going to do with this bleak future? Don't tell me I'm supposed to "fight" against the odds again. Look forward to the future. Blah, forget the future if I could end my life here I would."
He slammed the book, then got up and threw the book in the ocean. His throw was beyond what a football player could ever dream for.

Lovely beautiful breath of the crisp blue ocean. She sighed in bliss, letting the wind dance over her, her baggy clothes waving in the wind.

The ocean was much better than the cozy academy rooms. The salty air tagged at her now messy ponytails. A hand kept her black hat from flying off.

Her eyes darted around the beach; everything seemed normal, people playing games and generally enjoying life. Well, asides from a person entirely dressed in black staring into the ocean, it was.

Curious, she meandered towards the shadowed figure, occassionally tripping on rocks or shells. She had thought to stay back and look from afar, and instead talk to a plush of the person, which was awfully strange. Trying to clear her mind, she stared hard at the far away person.

A gust of wind hit her straight in the face, and she blinked.

'Hey, there's someone there,' she thought, eyes set upon the black clothed person again. It seemed like a student, or something.

Forgetting her place, she walked slowly over to the person, curiousity causing her to look at the him for a really long time.

"Why are you wearing black on such a good day like this?" she asked, hands placed on her brightly colored clothing.

He looked at her a growl like look on his face for a second then disappeared. Why does it always have to be a girl? He thought... She looked rather cute to his eyes, he sighed his expression softening. He may've been upset inside but he couldn't be mean to others unless they were treating him as if he was a young kid and short.

"I'm wearing black because it's daylight time and light hurts my skin. And I happened to be in a black wearing mood today." He was odd, very odd he could be angrier than anything but he always was nice to people who didn't do anything to get him upset. He got up and offered the girl a seat on the sand even if she was younger then him in physical age he had learned that age no longer mattered. He would be forever stuck in his age so he may as well try and act 14 again.

Taking his hosipitality, she plopped onto the sand, and let her legs sprawl out, her (now dirty) sneakers touching the wet sand. Her eyes closed, and the breeze flew over her again.

There'd been too much breeze flying today, she concluded. She was getting veeery bored. At least, she could talk to this person she just met.

She turned her eyes towards him, questionably, and asked, "Are you bored? I kinda am."

Rolling back her sweater sleeves, she picked up a handful of sand and molded it into a ball, eyes half lidded. She took a look around at other people and her gaze fell upon the person in black again. At first she thought it would be rude to suddenly up on someone who was staring distantly into the ocean, but her I-need-something-to-do nature took over, and a small glint of playfulness appeared in her eyes.

In a haste, she picked herself up from the dry sand, and dashed towards the coastline. She stood there for a silent second, before opening her left hands, and let the sand fly into the wind. A humourous plan connected in her mind, nothing short of what Aoi was to be expected. A fun plan, that probably not make the person angry and start using whatever powers he had. Yeah, she reassured herself, it will be fine.

[Aaand. The plan gonna be in the next post. I just typed up something random.]

"Nope.... I'm not bored..." He said looking at the water, he sighed his life was rather boring like a chore. He missed when he used to be able to be a kid, and now he was a adult in a kid's body. He looked at this girl wondering why she was so different and cheery. She seemed to be unable to sit still for long which cause him curiousity as to why.

He looked at the other people on the beach, they looked so happy and alive compared to him. He wanted to just live a normal life or at least a unvampiric one. He saw Aoi run off, he wondered what she was up to. He watched unsure at why she ran or was so odd, he rolled his eyes and decided to ignore her though a part of him was curious.

He watched her she seemed so odd compared to others he met. He wondered why and how so, he seemed to be the only one wearing black this day. And she the only one wearing bright colors, most were in normal shaded attire. He wondered if he would ever have anything interesting happen in life.

She paused for a second. Why was she so afraid in just playing around? Was it because he had growled under his breath? Or was it because she somehow thought it was imprudent? She shrugged to herself, sinking her sneakers into the water. The salty spray shot at her face, as her shoes filled with the ocean water.

The coolness of the water hit her feet; to tell the truth, she loved the ocean already, despite it being winter and it being able to give something like frostbite at this time of year.

Dipping a finger into the water, she stirred it around, as if trying to mix something up, though it was really her mind working.

He looked pretty sad-like, she guessed, maybe something should cheer him up. What did boys like to do?

'Hmm...' Aoi was thinking? That wasn't a good sign.

Poof! A small plush doll of her previous neighbor's kid popped up.

"Hey, boy. What do you like to do the most, eh?" she talked to the doll as if he as there, poking it with an index finger. "Playing? Running? What?" Silence. "Ah, you no use piece of junk." With a toss, she threw the cloth doll into the ocean, disregarding the pollution. Yet at impact, the plush poofed out of existence.

She decided to take a risk and ask him, herself. "What do you like to do for fun? You look kinda sad, for some reason."

Percy had a evil horribly wonderful thought pop in his head. He smirked, "I like to chase people and drink blood." He said showing his fangs, he looked menacingly at her wondering if she'd run away. He wasn't the nice to people all the time type, only nice to people to the extent of not yelling, biting, or hurting people. He only bit those who annoyed him, he usually found enough of them to stay out of blood lust.

He sighed, he didn't really fit in with many other vampires he was the young looking wise tell it as it is type. And not many older looking vampires enjoyed a younger looking one telling them as it was. He was a misfit in the world, he truly didn't fit in anywhere.

His eyes looked over the girl, he knew she was young probably had friends and family. He picked up a sea shell, "Your lucky I'm not thirsty..." He said still jokingly in his mind but from another point of view he seemed serious.

Instead of backing away, she recieved an alike thought. "Ooooh, really? Chasing people is fun, neh, esecially if they trip and fall," she replied, as if she didn't notice the second half of the question. "Then, why aren't you chasing people, if that's what you like to do? You sad, do fun stuff, you forget. That's my motto at life!"

She jumped and twirled around in circles, squeling, and finally settling down to sit again. Her ears twitched at the sound of another statement. "Ah, of course you're not thirsty, being out here..." she held up her hands in a dramatic pose, then they flopped back to the ground and she resumed her bored expression, "-kinda drains your thirst. It's nice, if you don't stick your tongue out and let the wind dry it up."

Silence surrounded her for several minutes, before she went on, "You're a vampire, right? I never saw any before. It's the kind of power with sucking up blood, and stuffs, right? I was never sure about that."

He looked at her, she was odd very odd not only did she show no fear in his comment, but she said he should do it more often. He raised his eyebrow at the girl, she was very peculiar.

"Ah, of course you're not thirsty, being out here... kinda drains your thirst. It's nice, if you don't stick your tongue out and let the wind dry it up."

He chuckled in his mind, she did realize he was a vampire right? He told himself that she couldn't be considering her brashness and her openly talking about this and that. He wondered what ever made this girl this way, she was extremely cheery and talkitive to even the strangest of strangers.

"You're a vampire, right? I never saw any before. It's the kind of power with sucking up blood, and stuffs, right? I was never sure about that."

He chuckled, she truly didn't know much about his kind. "We drink human blood because we need it, it's kinda like our food except we only need it every so often and we're usually quite neat unless we're in blood lust. But some are not so good vampires and tend to kill their prey even when their not in blood lust. We have enhanced human abilities such as smell, speed, strength and other things such as healing."

"It's true. Vampires are just a victim of their own hunger."

Young fourteen year old Blu stood on the sand looking out to the ocean. His jeans were rolled up so the sea wouldn't get his jeans wet. His hands were in their pockets.
