Blair loved to adventure to explore and experience. While the city offered much she'd found the school on its own had much to offer. On this day alone she'd seen a wendigo, a possessed doll and numerous other unique things.

So she'd float along the halls humming and watching the people she passed along the way. Then as she glanced back at her, she'd gently bump into into something. Looking forward again she'd seen a large aquatic girl. "Oh...hello~" she'd grin, sitting crosslegged in the air, "sorry about the bump, got distracted."

She'd float up and down a bit, looking over the taller girl. "Wow....you're really cool," she'd say with a giggle, "I'm Blair."

Arnaaluk was walking down the halls wearing her school uniform as she wades through all of the below her. Being so tall compared to everyone else had its perks as she could see every step she needed to take to not step on anyway. Most people seemed to give her the curtsy to give her some space as they walk past but the few inattentive ones Arnaaluk gingerly walked around. But while she was so focused on the walking on the ground, people whom would fly or float had not crossed her mind. At least until she saw a red haired girl on a collision course with her chest. Have so little time to react, Arnaaluk just held out her arms and waited to catch her in case she fell upon making impact.

Arnaaluk watched as the redhead bumped into her like watching a slow motion train-wreck except not nearly as destructive. Upon contact the red haired girl whirled around and Arnaaluk could only greet them with a sheepish smile. She was quick to apologizes as she now sits crosslegged in the air in front of them. Without the worry of the girl falling out the air, Arnaaluk lowers her arms to her sides.

"Err... hello. Its alright for neither of us are unharmed." commented Arnaaluk, taking a moment to pull back one of her braids with her hand before resuming conversation "Sorry for not noticing you earlier as well. I am so used to keeping an eye on the ground you sort of caught me by surprise by the time I looked up."

Arnaaluk was no stranger to being looked over as her striking appearance was usual even in a place like this. Thus she was unoffended as Blair eyed her up and down. She seemed friendly at the very least.

"And thank you. I sort of get that quite a bit actually but it is still kind of you say. My name is Arnaaluk and its nice to make your acquaintance Blair." spoke Arnaaluk as she gives Blair a smile.

The half demon would grin at her. "It's wonderful to meet you Arnaaluk," she'd say, pronouncing the name correctly, "there's so many interesting people here and I think I just met the most interesting of them all."

She'd float a little to the side, to where she was still close to her while not being in her way. "Where we're you going?" she'd ask, tilting her head, "exploring too?"

Blair would float up a bit to be at equal height as her. "Can I join you?" she'd say with a giggle, "I love talking to interesting and pretty people."

"Yes you speak correct. There are many people whom-" oh wait was that a... compliment? Arnaaluk pauses at the thought of her being the most interesting person around considering there were things such as literal gods walking among them. Though she understood that her kind were rare in these parts, she didn't think it made her more interesting than everyone else.

"Oh that is... kind of you say. But I am sure there are plenty of people just as interesting as I. Anyway, I was just heading to my dorm to grab a few things while there is break between classes." explained Arnaaluk as she tried to come off as bit humble. When ask if she could accompany her, it gave Arnaaluk some pause. She scratched the back of her head, thinking that there was no real harm if the girl wanted to tag along. Maybe they could use friend was all as they mentioned they were exploreing. So maybe they were new. Maybe.

"Well... alright. You can come along. I'm sure us two can have a lot to talk about." agreed Arnaaluk as she smiles to the girl. Once again she was called pretty but Arnaaluk didn't think much of it as she just figured Blair just wanted to put on good impression. Will that Arnaaluk continued down her path, making sure occasionally look over to Blair to see that she was still following.

Smiling she'd float along, following her new aquatic friend. "So you are new?" she'd ask curiously, "I'm a recent arrival myself." Her tail would sway behind her as they talked, a sign she was enjoying herself.

"Are you liking the island?" she'd flash a playful smile, "it's a great place to explore, have adventures, especially if you have a friend to explore it with." She hadn't made any real friends just yet, she hoped that would change with this.

She'd giggle and wrap her arms around Arnaaluk's. "The school is nice, but it'll get boring sometimes, gotta get out and have fun, see the sights."

"Oh! I thought you might have been a new student when you mentioned that you were exploring the school." remarked Arnaaluk, her intuition was right on in this case. "As for myself, no I am not new. I have actually been here for a few years. Though I think the first year was spent in the hospital. After that I was placed in the remedial classes until recently. Now I am just in the normal classes."

With her answers given, Arnaaluk listens to Blair as she asks her about how she liked the island and how much they seem to enjoy exploring it. The way she expressed her glee was almost like that of child and was rather endearing to behold. Then the redhaired girl laughed and suddenly tried to wrap her arms against her bicep. Blair was... well really weak but the sensation of being hugged jolted throughout her body.

"A-ah... well I am I like this island well enough. Its different but... not in a bad way. If you like I can take school and show you around. Maybe even around the island too. Since your new student and all." Spoke Arnaaluk, a little surprised that Blair was so... affectionate? Regardless, not like she was that much of more of an expert of this place. Even though its has been years it all still feels all new to her still.

"Having fun is good an all but... that doesn't mean you should just forgo school. But what do you like to do for fun since we are on that subject?"

She'd giggle, "I'd like that, we can explore together, see all that our new home has to offer." She was already excited at the idea of exploring things with her, "it's a magic island, so let's find all the magic."

"For fun?" she'd grin, "well exploring, but I've already said that." She'd chuckle, "well, parties are fun, trying new foods, just being with fun people." She'd hum thoughtfully, "I also like to people watch, go to places with lots of people and see what they all do."

The half demon looked at her, "what about you Arna....ok if I call you Arna? What do you like to do?" She'd smile mischievously, "in fact, how about this weekend you pick our first activity together, I'll pay, my treat."

Arnaaluk nods her head in agreement. A bit of exploration was fine idea and all of Blair's ideas for fun all like the typical things that most other people would find fun. Well except the people watching thing... that just sounded a bit stalkerish to her but... maybe she just misunderstood the who concept of it? But now that Blair told her what they found fun, it seemed that it was her turn tell what it was she did for fun.

"Arna is fine. Well... I like exercising, hunting, swimming, singing, dancing, tailoring, carving and..." Arnaaluk thought as she reviewed all of her favorite activities in her head, counting out her listed hobbies on her fingers but she can't really think of anything else "... I believe that is it. And uh... what was this about this weekend? Uhhh..."

This sudden proposal made Arnaaluk fluster for a moment. She didn't have any plans for the weekend but neither did she have any real ideas of what to do with Blair. They put all the pressure on her so she had to think of something. At first she was thinking about maybe hunting together but she really didn't what Blair would have thought about that. Then the idea of going to the beach came to her head. That actually wasn't have bad as they could both swim and there will be plenty of people for them to... people watch?

"Why not go to the beach together? Would that be a good idea to you?" Arnaaluk asked, though she sounded a bit unsure with her own decision.

"Oooooh, I'd love to hear you sing sometime, and dancing with you sounds lovely." She was already having fun just talking to her, so doing fun activities with her sounded even more fun. "Tailoring? As in clothes making?" she'd ask curiously.

She'd grin. "The beach sounds perfect!" she'd say excitedly, "I'll need to get a new bathing suit so we can go swimming, and we can get some food to share." This was very exciting, spending time with her new friend.

"Oh....actually I should tell you something," she'd say with a nod, "back home it was pretty common, not quite as common among other cultures." She'd look at her, "I'm genderfluid and can shift some of my form, so sometimes I'm a girl, other times a guy."

Arnaaluk smiled as Blair expressed their interest in hearing them sing and seeing them dance. It was talent she was proud of back home and something she enjoyed with her people. Maybe Blair will enjoy it as well. When Blair questions tailoring she was quick to confirm.

"Yes. But... not clothes like these." said Arnaaluk as she points to the school uniform she was wearing. "They are more winter coats. Traditionally I would work with sealskins but... here they are not as easy to get a hold of so I make use with some substitutes. When we get to my dorm I can show you the sort of clothes I made."

Hopefully they didn't find the idea of seal pelts as clothing gross or anything. Some of her classmates were not all that fancy on that idea of wearing animals apparently. But at least they liked her idea of going to the beach together. This was starting to sound rather exciting to Arnaaluk.

"Ah good! I think they have places to get food by the beach." agreed Arnaaluk. When Blair mentioned they wanted to tell her something, she was quick to quite and listen. Arnaaluk was unsure what she was expecting but them being genderfuild was not the issue she had expected to come up. She was almost expecting her to reveal some dark secret about her but... them being a guy sometimes wasn't all that bad.

"Oh, thats is fine. Thank you for letting me know. I understand that is thing here with some of the island's residents. I guess... uuhh... come to beach in whichever form you find comfortable." kindly spoke Arnaaluk, giving her new friend a reassuring smile to help alleviate whatever concern Blair might have had.
