"Ideally it won't need to come to that. I'd like to at least leave them alive so that they can return to him and tell him I'm doing well," he knew that compared to the others, Rho was without a doubt the most outwardly bloodthirsty of the group. It was something that was useful, though it did need to be curbed at times.

"That said, Father is my prey, and mine alone," he added bitterly. It wasn't something he was looking forward to, but it was also inevitable. "But enough grim talk. We should go for a hunt soon. I think we're all getting... restless."

"As you wish. Although if you do need them to be roughened up a little... " Rho remarked jokingly.

When Val mentioned that they should go hunting, Rhododendron smiled. She could not agree more. She knew she was getting antsy, she could only imagine what Bracken, Aven, and Tanniv were feeling.

"That'd be great. Maybe we could check out that Forbidden Forest place?" Rho suggested. She was itching to try her hand at something challenging and that would need the whole group's efforts to bring down.

"I don't see why it's so forbidden. Calling it something like that is why people insist on sneaking out there in the first place. For us though... it's as close to home as we'll get for the moment," Val leaned forwards, once again peering down at all of the students in the courtyard below.

"That abandoned school I've heard. We could even use part of that as a base," he smiled as he thought more about the potential an entire abandoned campus could hold for them. "Maybe we should scout that out first..."

Rho could only shrug at Val's rhetorical question. She also found the whole forbidden forest thing to be quite mystifying.

"A base for us?" Rho gasped, her eyes growing wide at the suggestion. "That would be such a great thing to have." she gushed.

"I'd love to have somewhere where we can go, hunt, hang out, and just be ourselves without worrying about being followed or who's listening to our conversations," Rho admitted, quite excited now about the idea of using the abandoned school as their new home-base.

"We should grab the group and head out there tomorrow morning, really early if we can," she said, happily making plans for their upcoming hunt.

"Are you sure you don't have Bracken's abilities? Because that's what I was thinking," he nudged her playfully.

"But yes, a base out there would be ideal. Between that and getting through these classes, and gathering enough funds to live off of campus..." he sighed. Part of him regretted not bringing valuables over to pawn off to help with this endeavor. "I know Tanniv misses her lab. Aven would probably like a place to properly work as well."

"That's because great minds think alike," Rho replied quite sassily when compared to their hunting companion and friend, Bracken.

"Tanniv and Aven.. yeah, both of them, more than you, me and Bracken, need a better place to be able to do their things," Rho agreed solemnly as she thought about her companions and their needs.

"I could get a second job for a bit. Maybe until we get resettled?" Rho offered.
