Ember walked onto the roof, smiling as the brisk afternoon air brushed past her face. There wasn't a cloud in the sky and the roof was empty. She walked forward and spun around ot the doorway. "Well, this is the roof!"

Axel walked up and stood beside her. "So this is it huh? I do feel...a little more....at ease....like I can just take a deep clean breath..." He breathed in deeply and let it out. "Hey do you ever just go somewhere by yourself and just scream? Strange as it sounds...it's fun!"
She smiled at Axel's comment. "I told you so." A smug smile on her face. He liked to go to a place and just scream? Itdidn't seem so strange to her. "I do that all the time, like when I'm really stressed out, you know?"
"Yep...but it's ALOT more fun when you're half dragon...." He smirked. His eyes turned bright silver and his pupils turned to reptilian like slits, and his incisors turned into full dragon fangs. "This is gonna be loud..." He covered her ears to curb the loudness of it. He took in a deep breath and unleashed it in a mighty roar that was definitely heard for miles.. He moved his hands from her ears and smiled. "How was that?"
He was half dragon? "You're half dragon??" Ember was both scared and amazed. She'd never met a dragon before. She watched as Axel transformed. When he covered her ears, she instinctivley pulled back, but before he actually roared, she covered her own ears. Even thorugh her plugged ears, she could still hear his roar, she was still quite close to him. "That...was...AWSOME!!"
"Yep!" He smiled retracting his fangs. "Sorry if I freaked you out a bit. It was weird to me at first. But I learned to control it after a while." He reverted back to his human form and laughed a bit. "My whole family except my mom is! My dad, sis, and bro! That would explain my appetite for meat huh?" He said to her. "Haha...now you can say stop picking on me or I'll have my dragon beat you up!" He laughed again.
Ember schook her head and said, "No, you didn't freak me out." She nodded and laughed as Axel explained his appettite for meat adn how his whole familywas a dragon except his mom. When he told her about how to stop picking on her by saying she knew a dragon, she thought it was a litle cheesy, and wimpy whihc was nohing like her, but she laughed anyway, knowing it was good intentions. "That's good, but I don't think I'll need dragon support if someone's picking on me. I can get quite scary." She said with a smile.
"I'm sure you can...dad always old me...no matter how strong a dragon is...an angry woman can always do more harm..." He said laughing lightly. "Which is why I try not to fight em whenever possible..."
"At least she's not high maintenece...."
"Hey look...the suns goin down. Where would you rather watch the sunset...on the roof, or by the lake?" He asked leaning on the railing of the roof.

"Well, I-" She began before stopping herself. She was going to say to stay up here, because she couldn't go near water, but tonight wasn't about her, it was about Axel. And since he was new to every place, she thought the lake would be better, since he's already seen the roof. "Let's go to the lake." She said with a smile. "You haven't been there yet."

"Alright....the lake it is!" He said as he took off his jacket and spread his wings. Oddly, enough the weren't dragon's wings they were more angelic, as they had featheres instead of scales. The silver feathers glittered in the light almost as he stretched them out.
"aaaah....feels good to e able to stretch these out...I don't get alotta elbow room..and easch of these is about the length of a sedan front-to-back. So If you don't mind getting in contact with ya this time..." He laughed. "You wanna hitch a ride to the lake?"
