She smirked, standing back just watching him. She liked to see what he was planning to give in enchange for the fall, she wasn't one to take advantage of a weakness. And as a swordsman she always thought stabbing someone in the back wasn't honorable. She had learned from many chivalrous, and convicted men with dreams. Men that were pirates, it was odd for some to see the good in pirates and true enough some pirates were worthless. But men who instated the pirates code and many others were not men without honor. She knew pirates were rare in this day and age in some places, but after all she had grown up in a place were electric appliances were run by a mule running on a belt. Oddly that's how strange her hometown was, they were way behind in their knowledge of electricity.
But their training of swordsman were absolute. She had challenged a dojo when she was young and lost to a boy, and according to the agreement she would have to attend the dojo for training. She learned quickly and soon had doubled her skills, but same with many other students. She pushed beyond what was thought possible for a girl, and many men had started to back down since she was a girl. Hence the clothing of a man often helped her get the training she needed.
