Smokey faked a hurt gasped, then put a hand over their heart. The other one. "Wooow. Not my fault my family thought that was a proper punishment. I proved it was totally the right decision though."

With Baeye explaining what they wanted in a guardian, Smokey leaned in like they were preparing themself for the suspenseful part of a movie. By the end of it, Smokey had a goofy grin on their face. Their mind was buzzing with options for Baeye.

"There's a lot of people like that on the island. Well, not sure about the rain part. I think a lot of fire elementalists won't be super happy about rain... or are you going for someone who controls air? Ilada, I need to make a list for you now. I need to give you some chance to win."

Baeye just shook their head. "Still an unfair advantage. Easy head start and now look at you, alreafy gaurdianed up. Something you would not have been able to do if you didn't get to leave early."

"Huh" Baeye blonked. Then they realized the mix up about the rainy seasons.

"Oh no. Not the rain. I just mean the storms in general" And on que their horns began to crackle with lightning a bit.

"Air or fire. Either is fine really. I do not really have a preference. What is your gaurdian's element? Fire I assume?"

Smokey laughed. Baeye had a good point. They did have an advantage, and it made them kind of a weirdo for their people. Maybe that was an understatement, considering they shouldn't have left the Ilada until at least twenty-four.

"Oh. Ooooh. I thought you were a daredevil or something. Anywho, Roa has fire powers. I've always felt a little more Fire than Air. I wouldn't have minded an Air, but I don't think I would have connected as well with them. But this makes finding you someone much easier.

"I'm all done with my food, by the way. Want to continue practicing? I'll think up some options for you while we walk."

Baeye didn't feel the need to go into what those things were. So being vague was the best option.

"So this will be easier? There are many elementalist on this island that fits my standards then?"

Did they want to continue practicing? Well they have to. If Baeye and Smokey wanted to get good at this they needed to keep practicing no matter how emberassing and frustrating it was.
"Yes. Together we shall be the first to master the human way of walking."
