"I just feel it," Dalia said with a shrug, turning to look away from Aedes. "I... sorry. Must be me projecting or something."

As the two of them walked, Dalia saw an a gazebo and grabbed Aedes by the hand to drag her underneath it. At least they were out of the snow for now. "That's... kinda better, huh?"

She looked over at her friend, smiling a bit. Her face was flushed from the cold and Dalia took a moment to blow on her hands. "I... thanks a lot though. You're one of the first people to make sense about all of this. My Aunt Chloe tried to help but... you know. Adults don't get it."

"Yeah, well your feelings are shit..." muttered Aedes as she listened to Dalia's lousy excuse "Though I guess can't blame you for projecting your own insecurities."

As the two continued to walked together, she was forcibly dragged under a gazebo by Dalia's hand. Dalia was someone whom she somewhat respected but who the hell did she think she was dragging her about like some dog on a leash!

"DON'T TOUCH ME!" yapped Aedes as she pulls back her hand inspects it like a collector inspecting the damage to an art piece. But as Dalia gave her praise her disgust gives way to smugness "Yeah, adults are just... dumb. Your thanks are appreciated however~"

Dalia had let go of Aedes' hand when the two of them stopped, but she recoiled a bit anyway when the girl yelled at her. "Sorry... I wasn't trying to hurt you. I just... S-sorry..."

Dalia rubbed her arm and looked at her shoes, slightly uncomfortable now. "Mom says I need to reign in how touchy I am with people. Not everybody likes being touched. I'm just... I need to touch people. I feel like I'm going crazy if I can't hug someone or hold their hand or- y-you get it. I won't do it though. With you, I mean."

Dalia shivered hard as the wind picked up, reminding her of how she stupidly left her jacket behind. Why didn't this damn thing have proper walls? "Anyway, uh. How's your online stuff going? I see you posting sometimes, but I don't really... I haven't done social media in a while."

"Yeah well next... wait until I give you permission to touch me in the future. I am a delicate after all." huffed Aedes, rubbing her palm on her shirt to rid herself of imaginary Dalia germs or whatever. Then Dalia gets on the subject she enjoys discussing the most: herself~

"As for my social media presence... well just trying get my name out there. I have a few hundred followers and such but... still trying find that thing really brings in all of the traffic. Trying out all of those popular things that other people do like... posting vlogs and streaming games like that... uhhh... Fortnight game? That one where your suppose to build forts and kill people? People seem to like those. I get a tones and tones praise of from my fans in comments~" said Aedes as she embellish her online persona. In true her channels of... medicore content. They only noteworthy thing about her channel is that fact she appears invisible in all of her photos and videos leading on to some speculation on whom she really is. That and the toxicity in the comments sections (often instigated by Aedes herself) and the bucket-loads of salt while playing online games (poorly) has earned her a lot of haters, trolls, and loyal followers "defending" her. But whether positive or negative, in the end any attention on her is good enough in her eyes.

"I even thought about trying out those AMSR things. I meam, its stupidly easy to do and a lot people seem to like them for some reason. Make some tapping noises and funny lip sounds and people can't seem to get enough of it! I just can't afford those stupid microphones though..."

"Maybe I'll check out your game videos," Dalia said, shoving her hands in her pockets. Wait no, her pants were wet. Meaning cold. Dammit. Instead she pulled her arms inside her shirt to at least keep the wind off of them. "I play Fortnite. It's good for spatial awareness without my powers. Keeps me on my toes, ya know?"

Dalia didn't expect Aedes to really understand. She was training for a fight that she didn't even know would ever come. But she was Malara Tor's daughter. Surely she'd have some big fight to have to do someday. But that was neither here nor there. She was hanging out with a friend. She shouldn't be thinking about that stuff.

"I don't know if I'd be good at that sort of thing. The internet fame thing. I'm better face to face with people. And I'm way better when my adrenaline kicks in. Mom says that's the mark of a Tor. You just... know what to do when things are bad." Oh good she was rambling now. Dalia reached her hand up through the neck of her shirt and scratched at her cheek a bit.

"Thanks though..." she continued, trying not to keep spewing things out at random. "For listening to me, I mean. I want to feel better. To not be so mopey. I just don't know... what I need to do to do that. If that makes sense?"

"Yeah, sure. Whatever. I suppose you should be grateful to have me listen to your dribble. If your trying to make yourself feel better then you can start by stuffing it to those whom are trying to bring you down to their level. That or anti-depressants." stated Aedes as she crosses her. Though she sounded ungrateful... part of her sort of liked the fact that Dalia was paying attention to her but was too proud to admit it.

"And your probably right. You wouldn't be good at the whole internet fame thing. You should leave that sort thing to the professionals like me." as she warps up her words, she rubs her chin as a thought came into mind. "... but you aren't a complete lameo... and I don't exactly hate you so... maybe we could do a... collaboration together sometime... at my place? When your done with the pathetic little pity party you have going on with yourself?"

"You... wanna hang out sometime?" Dalia perked up at that. She had been spending time at friends' houses less and less since she had fewer friends to do so with. Mostly it was her friends visiting her, not the other way around. Plus she didn't even know where or how Aedes lived.

"I'd love that actually. What, uh... did you have in mind? I mean, if you have any ideas already." She was sure Aedes did. She was smart, for all her snark and sass.

She looked her over and found her face flushing a bit more. Luckily the cold probably hid it. Probably. Aedes' little fang was cute though, and how bright her eyes were. Wait no. Dalia stopped and reminded herself not to get weird. This was ehy Jax left, she reminded herself. She was too fast. Too forward. Dalia wanted friends. She wasn't like her mom. Dalia exhaled slowly, recomposing herself in the same span of seconds she had had the strsy thoughts.

"Ughh... hanging out. That sounds so... causal. Think of it more like... an invitation to my home... if one could call Endrit's pigsty a home." spoke up Aedes somewhat dismissively. While she tolerated Dalia she didn't want her to get the wrong idea: the two where not friends. But they were something... she wasn't sure what but... something.

"Anyway, as for what I had in mind I was thinking we could chat over lunch or dinner. I'm sure Endrit will that will make Endrit happy as he will finally have someone whom will fully appreciate his cooking. Then we can play some online games together, see those spatial awareness skills in action hrmm? Oh maybe go peruse the mall if we have time for that sort of thing. Something to treat yourself."

Her eyes look Dalia up and down, studying her for a moment before she creeps a smile and states:

"Maybe get yourself a new winter jacket while we are there hrmm?"
