Life was good, maybe not perfect, he still had nightmares, he was damaged, but he wasn't alone.

They stepped onto the cruise ship, the young horseman had their leggage over his left shoulder, while his right hand held Summer's hand. He grinned at her, "it looks nice," he leaned over and kissed her cheek, "thank you for coming with me."

He started leading them toward the front desk, "we'll get our rooms and drop our things off then we can explore the ship," he said with a smile.

Never had Summer been on a cruise before. Let alone a romantic one.

Valentines Day had never really been a thing for her in the past - she had always spent it either alone at home with some video games or screwing around with her friends at one of their houses. It was always more of a hang-out day than a date-day to her. The most note worthy thing she saw from it was when school made half hearted attempts to spread love through paid valentine grams that she never had the courage to buy to send to anyone.

So this was all new. Since her arrival as the Oracle, she felt like her entire world was completely upside down. Not only was she in a world of fantasy, she now had a boyfriend that stank of death and she was now on a love-cruise. Summer was so lost in her own thoughts of how upside down her life was when a peck on her cheek was given. The girls tanned cheeks flared scarlet and she had to scramble for her words.

"No problem." She managed to say without much problem through some crazy miracles. Following him, she kept herself out of her thoughts and decided to just enjoy this time. "Alright." Summer smiled as they looked around. She thought she saw either a tennis or a volleyball net from far away or it could have been a trick of the light. Summer had never been good at sports but she loved the sport of volleyball.

"What do you want to see on the ship first?"

He signed the up for their rooms, he knew she wouldn't be comfortable sharing a room yet. "I hear the rooms are really nice."

He led them to their rooms so they could drop their stuff off, "well there's a lot to pick from." He smiled, "could go eat, dance a bit," he gently squeezed her hand, "or we can go swim." He was actually a bit nervous over possibly swimming, he had scars, brands the cult had given to them when they attacked him.

"Water should be nice," he opened the door to his room and tossed his bag in. "Should be fun," he smiled, "can see if I can beat you at volleyball," he said teasing just a bit. Chuckled he wrapped an arm around her waist and hugged her, "we better change through."

Giving her companion a sheepish smile, she eagerly bounced on her heels - thrilled to see the cruise ship and all it had to offer. There were a lot of people she knew who had gone on cruises and they all said that it was fabulous, at least once they got their sea legs! Summer would say she had a pretty decent sense of balance because of her dancing and just because she played balance games because she got bored.

The young woman said nothing in reply to his commentary on what they could do because they wandered over to their singular rooms. Grinning with him, Summer held onto his arm as they found their rooms. Summer placed her bag on her bed, meeting him back in the hallway.

"Alright. If we want to swim today, we should put on the suits under our clothes for everything else." Summer chirped, giving him a peck on the cheek. Wandering back inside her room, she decided changed into her swimwear with a dress over it. She replaced her little carry around bag's contents with just a camera, her phone, and a towel.

He couldn't help but grin when she kissed his cheek, he really liked Summer, he had never made a secret of that. He slipped into his room and quickly changed, a gray t-shirt, and his blue swimming trunks under a pair of light pants.

Throwing a towel over his shoulder he walked out of his room and smiled at her, "you look beautiful." It was true she did look lovely.

Taking her hand he gave it gentle squeeze, "well let's see what this boat has to offer." He grinned and started to lead her away from the rooms and back onto the deck

He looked around, "there's a lot, so swimming first?" he asked wrapping his arm around her shoulders hugging her.

"Thank you." Summer flushed slightly is that he gave her the peck and the compliment, feeling her heart beat pick up a little bit. The Oracle shifted her weight back and forth, nervous about this time together. She did no want to have a kind of prophecy while on the boat as she felt going blind for a week would kill the mood the cruise was supposed to give. Taking a breath, she looked at him with a grin.

Bouncing with him, she eagerly bounced on her heels as they made their way through the ships hallways. Electric blue eyes flickered over everything that could be offered outwardly. "I wonder just how many things there are to do on the ship." She wondered aloud.

Stumbling slightly against him as she was pulled against his side, she quickly adjusted and put her arm around his waist in return. "Mmmhmm. We can wander around first if you want and then go swimming, see what we really want to do first. OH! Man, I hope they have a rock-wall. I've had some friends who said that they went on cruises that had them sometimes."

He grinned at her excitement, her energy was contagious, she seemed to make things brighter. "I hear theres a lot to do," he thought for a second, "I know there's dancing, a restaurant, even couple's massages."

"Yes, let's go," taking her hand ahain, they started exploring. He gestured to the restaurant as they passed it, "we can get something to eat later." They walked along the deck, looking over what they had.

Chuckling he pointed at a rock wall further along, "looks like they do." He smiled and gently squeezed her hand, "a lot to do." He gestured to the massage area as they passed it, "might be a good way to unwind at the end if the day."

He stopped at a soda machine and bought them both one, "so what do you think?" he asked as he took a drink, "I mean, I have an amazing girlfriend, so the cruise is gonna be great no matter what."

Eyes growing slightly wide, her face seemed to just light up once more. She absolutely loathed physical education at her old schools - it was time consuming and based on things she thought were ridiculous. But at middle school they had to use a rock-wall for one thing and that was what she loved the most. Besides dance, that was one of her favorite units.

The two of them wandered to see it all before they found their destination. Thanking him for the drink, she gave him a small smile. The young woman sipped at her drink as she kind of just surveyed her surroundings as she tried to think about what to do next.

"I think the cruise is amazing and that my boyfriend is a huge flirt." She told him, that blush still on her cheeks. Turning to him, she mused, "I mean. I think it's funny that he already has me as his girlfriend and he' still tries to impress me with his charm sometimes."

John chuckled a bit, "sorry, it's just, I've never dated before," by the time he was old enough to date everything went to hell. "I guess...," he smiled a bit embarrassed, "I'm a bit nervous, but I did mean what I said."

He finished his soda and tossed the empty can into a trash can, "but yes, there's a lot to do here."

Cleating his throat a bit, he took her hand he gently squeezed it, "anyways, what do you want to do first?" He gestured to the rockwall, "we can try that thing out first," John was athletic though he rarely showed it, "cool off in the pool after."
