He took her hand and stood. "We should still have time to make it down there today." He ignored the fact that he was going to drop some of this off at his room first. He didn't want them to be late. Instead, he stretched his back, grabbed his bag and slung it over a shoulder, picked up his books and started walking.

She grabbed her own things, her bag, and her painting, and followed Kotah out the door. They walked through the hallway of the library. "Where is it we're going again? I'm following you, you look like you know where your going!" She laughed, because she had no idea where she would find a picture frame.

He did his best to follow the directions from the clerk in the library. Turning a corner, he recognized the store from previous descriptions and pointed. "Right over there." He continued walking beside her.

She wandered into the small shop with Kotah, and glanced around, searching for frames. As she came across the 'art aisle' she turned the corner and found them.

Her sense of direction was rarely good, and she was kinda proud of herself. She glanced over the different types, black, white, brown, stained, and metal.

"Hmm... " She glanced back at the picture, and looked up at Kotah, "What do you think would look best?"

He looked closely at the frames, recalling that the painting was mostly blue. He pointed at the black one, "I'd go with the black frame, but I'm biased. Black is good with everything, and the others just don't seem to fit it well enough." He shifted under the weight on his shoulder.

She noticed his uncomfortable movements, and agreed, took the frace to the cashier, paid with the random bills littered in her purse, and walked out the door.

"Thanks for coming with me. I swear, I would have gotten lost, this place is just so huge! I'm used to a maximum of like, ten huts no more than eight feet apart!" She laughed at her simple nature. She was almost like an Indian, talking to someone coming to the "new world". Having realized this, she blushed, embarrassed about her simple history.

He smiled. "It was nothing. That's kinda cool, though. I may have lived in a giant house, but it was secluded on one of the sideroads. Our neighbors were miles away. I just have a decent sense of direction."

"Well..." He looked to his feet. "I should get going. If you want to come to my dorm, that'd be cool, but I don't really feel like doing anything except sitting on my bed, reading or talking depending on my company."

She blushed, and smiled slightly, twisting her toes into the ground. It was a nervous habbit, and she found herself doing it more than usual.

"I think, if I didn't have Archie..." she laughed, "And now you... I wouldn't be able to find my way out of the dorm building, I have the worst sense of direction!"

"Well..." He looked to his feet. "I should get going. If you want to come to my dorm, that'd be cool, but I don't really feel like doing anything except sitting on my bed, reading or talking depending on my company."

"Depending on your company?" She looked at him curiously, and nodded, "I'd be happy to join you, though I think we should drop by and show Archie his new portrait." Her eyes got wide with excitment and she sat on the ground for a moment, putting the painting in the frame. She stood back up, looking at it. "Isn't it lovely? I think Archimedes will love it!"

He smiled at her, then her artwork. "It looks fantastic! He is going to go crazy over it. Lead the way and we'll show Archie first." He was ready to go when he asked, "So when's the next time I get to watch you paint? Soon, I hope?"

She smiled, feeding off his energy, fueling her own, "Oh! I could wait and give it to him as a birthday present.. but thats too long!" she giggled. They walked through the courtyard into the Girl's Dorms, up the stairs and into the room, as they walked, she talked to Kotah.

"I don't know... You were telling me how beautiful a sunset could be on the roof, I would be happy to paint it there." No one had ever been so eager to see some of her work than him, other than Archie, but he had good reason, he was with her all the time, and sometimes, she put him in her artwork.

As the reached to top of the stairs, and entered the room, Archie was laying on Kotah's pillow, flipping through channels. The painting was hidden behind Enelya's back as she walked into the door sneakily...

"Archie... wanna see what I brought you?"

Archie lifted his head gingerly, and cocked his head. Enelya pulled the painting out from her back and Archimedes went wild! He started jumping up and down squeaking in Lizard-Speak "ENELYA ENELYA!!! I LOVE IT!!!" Was all he managed to utter through his joy. Enelya went to the chest of drawers, and displayed it. Archimedes crawled down the leg of the bed, and crawled up the drawers, staring at himself in awe.

Enelya beamed, she loved making her friends happy, and this was a great way to do it. She walked over to Kotah and smiled radiantly at him. "He loves it!"
