Kotah walked into the library with Enelya at his side. "Speaking of which..." he pointed at the table they met at, "How long ago was it? Not even a week?" Sauntering over to the shelf he saw the anatomy book at last, he glanced over it, using his finger as a guide. Shifting the weight of the bag on his shoulder, he reached down and pulled the book off the shelf. Walking back to the front desk, he said, "I've come to pick up a book and renew another." He placed both on the desk and pointed to each, respectivly."

Enelya's gentle smile waved across her face as she saw their meeting place. Where they had gone from small talk to life conversations in a matter of minutes, where some people, it takes years to even get past the 'glance in the hallway'

"Not even a week... " She repeated. And nodded, waiting for him to go check out the books, following Kotah's lead.

He smiled at her as he gathered his things before turning back to the library clerk. He asked for directions to a school store, and after receiving them, he turned to Enelya. "Mind if we stop by my dorm on the way? I want to drop these things off. It's getting kinda heavy." He laughed a little, embarassed by his shortcomings.

"I don't mind at all." She looked down at her toes. They twisted in her sandles, and she thought of what Archie was doing, since he had gone to the Girl's Dorms on the way over.

"I'll be happy to carry something for you, if you need some help, you know."

He smiled and led the way. "Alright. If it's decent, I'll have to show you it, and why I'm rarely ever in there." He grinned and added, as if knowing her thoughts, "I wonder what Archimedes is up to, though. I saw him leave, but didn't know where to."

"I'll be happy to carry something for you, if you need some help, you know."

"Nah, it's ok. I could use the exercise, anyway." He shrugged.

"Alright. If it's decent, I'll have to show you it, and why I'm rarely ever in there."

She smiled a little, curious of what he was talking about.

(OOC: Knowing to show her the dorm, but whatever it was that made him rarely ever there. If that sentence didn't make sense.)

She looked back up at him, and stuck out her tongue, crossing her eyes. "I could never imagine what would repel you from staying in your dorm all day!" She smiled, having a pretty good idea, that pretty much anything, would keep him away. "I mean look at me, I spend most of my time with you! I'm not in my dorm." She giggled, and nudged him.

He grinned and added, as if knowing her thoughts, "I wonder what Archimedes is up to, though. I saw him leave, but didn't know where to."

She laughed at his goofy grin, and the fact that he had practically read her mind. Where they becoming that close? she thought. She shook her head in a 'I dunno' way, but then added, "I bet he went looking for his lady friend," and winked.

She then walked over to the table, and ran her fingers across the surface. She sat down for a moment in her chair, and looked at Kotah.

"What was it about me... That made you... inclided to talk to me? Like, what was your first impression of me?" She looked curiously and waved her hands around, making different flowers, then pushing them back into the ground, rising them again, almost like a yo-yo.

"I could never imagine what would repel you from staying in your dorm all day!"

He grumbled, "Terrible color sceme and a roomate that shapeshifts. I swear, if I step on him one of these days, I'm not reponsible."

She then walked over to the table, and ran her fingers across the surface. She sat down for a moment in her chair, and looked at Kotah.

He tilted his head slightly, returning her gaze before setting his stuff down and sitting across from her.

"What was it about me... That made you... inclided to talk to me? Like, what was your first impression of me?"

"Well..." He shrugged. "Everything. The way you introduced yourself, asked about me; you have a subtle attractiveness I admire, and your pride isn't misplaced. Um..." He shrugged again. "I dunno. Some stuff I can't place. I do like your hair, though. Very pretty."

"Terrible color sceme and a roomate that shapeshifts. I swear, if I step on him one of these days, I'm not reponsible."

She laughed, and shook her head in agreement. "I personally would never want to shapeshift. Sounds dangerous to me. What if... you shifted into like, an elephant or something, and a pocher was like 'Oh! An Elephant!' *BAM* you are dead, because he wanted your tusks, and then after he shoots you, realizing hey... your not an elephant! How scary would that be?!" She crossed her arms and shook her head. "Dangerous business."

"Everything. The way you introduced yourself, asked about me; you have a subtle attractiveness I admire, and your pride isn't misplaced. Um..." He shrugged again. "I dunno. Some stuff I can't place. I do like your hair, though. Very pretty."

She smiled radiantly and messed with her hair as he said this. Her purple eyes looked into his, and she replied, "Well, if you want to know what made me want to talk to you... It was the fact that you were all alone, and looked like you weren't interesting in talking to anyone." she laughed. "I was so curious! I thought maybe I could open this little clam up, and it worked too." She reached across and tapped his knee. "Then, I noticed your book, and became even more intrigued," she got up, and came and sat in Kotah's lap sideways, putting her legs up over the arm of the chair, and leaning back against the other arm. "Then, just the energy I saw in you, I figured that no matter how unwilling to talk you might have been, there was a person inside of you that had a beauty I had never seen before."

"Dangerous business."

He nodded. "It goes the other way, too. If the animal pack you were trying to fit in realized you weren't one of them... No one is around to help you if you need it."

""I was so curious! I thought maybe I could open this little clam up, and it worked too."

He laughed with her, "Well, you see, getting me to say something isn't the tricky part. It's getting this clam not to snap on your fingers." He grinned his dangerous grin, and it softened into a smile.

She got up, and came and sat in Kotah's lap sideways, putting her legs up over the arm of the chair, and leaning back against the other arm.

He made room for her and supported her back by wrapping his arm around her.

"Then, just the energy I saw in you, I figured that no matter how unwilling to talk you might have been, there was a person inside of you that had a beauty I had never seen before."

For the first time since they met, he couldn't mind any words for her. His mouth opened for a few seconds before closing. He looked at her sideways and smiled. Instead, he decided to quote something he read while growing up. He left most of it out, since she would probably take offense to some of the lines that he didn't intend. "...the waters that unnerve you will tug in the ancient recesses of your mind; the midnight will seem restful..." He rubbed her back and smiled. "In other words, my dark nature looked too interesting to pass up. My..." He puffed his chest, sitting upright in a sarcastic display of manliness with a deeper voice, "...devious aura enthralled your senses." He laughed a little and smiled at her.

She gasped, "Exactly! But, I guess you gotta worth with what you've been given.."

"In other words, my dark nature looked too interesting to pass up. My..." He puffed his chest, sitting upright in a sarcastic display of manliness with a deeper voice, "...devious aura enthralled your senses." He laughed a little and smiled at her.

Enelya bursted out laughing, her eyes getting big. She poked his chest playfully, "Sure, if you say so!" She stuck out her tongue. "What you quoted though, what was it from? Very cute!" she laughed playfully.
