Jackal, unlike pretty much every other ancient supernatural being, arrived on the island with nothing. He didn't have a job, he didn't have money, and he basically was on the island at MCI's mercy. I've been playing that he's effectively living in a shelter.

Now, he's got a job (and some clothes), and he needs a place to live. Effectively he's looking for either a roommate in an apartment, or someone looking for a tenant, but I'm pretty open to things otherwise.

Obviously he'd prefer someone who hasn't killed anyone, but he's not going to be terribly picky as long as you aren't Malara-range.

Seeing as Wess also isn't super great off with money and everything, having a roommate is about the best idea for him. I imagine he'd go for a small apartment. He doesn't take up a lot of room and he's a poor shy wendy

Talked to Foxy, and Wess is kind of my... backup option? I have a bunch of plots with Foxy so I'm sliding this out in general for anyone I don't have many plots with.

Okey well... if your interested I can offer my character Tengu. She already has an apartment and currently lives with her two cats but I can see her taking in Jackal on as roommate to help out with her rent. She is pretty friendly sort and will have no real issue with Jackal cause "he seems like a nice person". Tengu has never killed anyone so I don't think Jackal will have too much issue with Tengu... even if she is a bit odd and aloof. Anyway, let me know what you think of this roommate proposal!

Eyyyy, that works for me! Do you want to do a thread of them meeting for the first time - maybe Jackal showing up in response to a want ad?

They certainly make an odd pair, considering how they act.

I think an intro thread of Jackal and Tengu meeting for the first time would be great idea! So I think we should do that! Have two ideas on how to go about with the introduction thread:

Idea 1:
We can do a chance meeting where after some conversation, Jackle drops that he is looking for place to live and Tengu can be all "I can set you up"!

Idea 2:
We can do your suggestion and have Jackal come by and inquire Tengu at her apartment after seeing a wanted ad somewhere.

If you like one idea over the other let me know! Also, do you have a preference on who would start the thread?

I feel like the second would probably be best, since he'd be looking for a place directly. Also because I'm very bad at leading conversations to places like 'mentioning he's looking for a place to live.

Perhaps a middle ground: Maybe she didn't put an ad up, and he's at the wrong apartment, but she just GOES ALONG WITH IT? She seems the type.

Nah, when you put it that I think going with the second option would make the most sense in these circumstances. That that case its a question of who should start the thread. Should I begin Tengu tiding up her place or should we start with Jackal knocking on her door?

I can get the thread started for you so that you may bet to your posts. It will be awhile for me to get a thread up as I have posts of my own I want to wrap up but expect a thread up sometime later today.
