Mew was walking around the school, looking for peace. Sure she could go to her dorm but it got old staying in one place. She couldn't find a peaceful place in the school. Everyone seemed to be where she went. She sighed. There was only one place she didn't check: the library. She wanted to read up on powers kids here had anyway. She opened the door and saw dozens of books, which got a smile out of her. She could spend days in here not just hours.

Mew walked through the towers of books. She wasn't looking for any particular book. She was just looking for one that catches her eye. It was on ancient world. Mew always found the ancient world mysterious. She took the book and sat down near the window. She glanced around, noticing that there was hardly any students around. Mew smiled and began to read.

It was lunch time. The time where everyone can finally have a break from all the mind blowing work they have at this school. Skyler hasn't seen every part of the school yet so he decides to take his lunch time and explore the school so he could remember some of the main places so he wouldn't get lost anymore. The only problem is 'its lunch time" There are kids at every corner, going every which way. Its about impossible to even see whats in front of you

Over and over again, Skyler's being pushed around like a rag doll. He tries to keep himself firm on the ground, but by doing that it does about nothing. Every person that walks by seems to squeeze themselves between Skyler and another person, and even with this large crowd, its not making Skyler very happy with his new plan.

Soon enough Skyler was pushed down the lane and into a room. He didn't look so pleased with a that happened in the hall, but as he turns himself around to find himself in the library. With all the books and shelves, it was easy to tell that it was a library in fact, but there was also a sign that said so.

As he looks around the large library he could see that there wasn't very many people in the library. It might just be because there is technology, but Skyler know the library isn't a popular place. Skyler kind of liked the library. Everything was normally quiet and with small crowds, Skyler thought about it and decided he would stay here and read a book until he could get a chance to go look around the school.

Skyler walked over to the shelves and started to ruffle through them. There wasn't very many that look/sounded interesting to he began to look at other shelves until he found a good book to read. Eventually Skyler came to a shelve that was sitting right behind a girl who sat reading a book in peace by a window.

Mew felt the sun beam down on her. She felt warm and enjoyed the feeling. She was on Ancient Greek when she felt someone near her. She smiled at the boy. "Is there something your looking for? I could help you look for something your interested in" she said. She closed her book after putting a bookmark on her chapter. She stood up, stretching. Until the boy came, she didn't realized how stiff she got.

She rubbed her neck, trying to get the pain out of it. Looking down for about half an hour would make anyone's neck hurt. She looked around again, noticing that it mostly empty. She turned back to the boy. "What interests you" she asked.

As Skyler was looking through the books, he heard the girl who what sitting behind him stand up from her chair. He didn't totally turn around, he only looked over his right shoulder to see the girl with his right eye.
She kind of looked like a girl who came here a look to read books. With her glasses and all, she seemed like a smart kind of person. Skyler only watched her a few moments before turning back to the shelve, searching, minding his own business.

"Is there something your looking for? I could help you look for something your interested in" The girl asked Skyler.

Everyone Skyler has meet so far seems so nice and calm, its kind of strange, but he liked it a little bit. Skyler only nodded his head. With 4 pairs of eyes Skyler might be able to find something on the book shelves to read before lunch break ends.
Sitting upwards, Skyler turned his whole body to the girl and looked at her with his narrow blue eyes.

She turned her gaze back to him and they were looking straight at each other this time, Skyler didn't dare break the gaze.

"What interests you" she asked.

Skyler didn't know. He wasn't one for romance, and not much of a fiction or fantasy kind of guy. Mystery always were fun to read, but they're most that end the same way over and over again. Skyler wanted a kind of book that had a spark of surprise and some sort of real life things like survival or being hunted alive or something around thoughs lines, but Skyler only shrugged for his answer.

Mew smiled softly, She tapped her cheek. Most boys she knows don't read. She tried to guess what the boy in front her would like. Maybe adventure. She bit her lip. "What kind of books do you like to read? Most of my boy friends don't read" she said. She tugged on her curly hair. She idly wondered if she should style it. "Maybe mystery or adventure" she suggested. She liked those sometimes. Mew had to be in the mood for that genre through.

She sighed. She sometimes wished she could read minds. Oh well. Maybe by suggesting books, he'll open up.

The girl gives Skyler a smile while tapping her cheek, but it wasn't long until she bit her lip. Skyler gave her questioning look. Was she puzzled with something? He could really figure it out himself, but he knew something was up.
"What kind of books do you like to read? Most of my boy friends don't read." she said.
It took Skyler a few moment. Boyfriends? He didn't doubt that she did not have boyfriends, but had she meant boys who were her friends? He held onto this thought for a while before he just suggested it was "Boys who were friends."

Skyler tilted his head to the roof and thought about it before replying.
"Truly I do not know..." He turned his gaze back to her once his words had faded from the world they stood in at that right moment. That was the first time he had spoken to her, before all he did was give her small signs of what he was saying, this is because he didn't like talking. It wasn't something he was strong with.

"Maybe mystery or adventure" she suggested.
Skyler smiled at her words. It was very kind of her to help him look for a book. It would have taken him all day to finally find the perfect book.
Skyler began to move towards the adventure session, hoping she might follow.

Mew smiled. She watched him walk to the adventure section. She followed him. She wondered if he would mind. She twirled her blond curly hair. she leaned on the bookcase. She wanted to talk but couldn't think of anything to say. Mew never felt so awkward around a guy. She normally would chat up a storm. She was used to boys looking at her through. She took a breath and starting talking. "So I think its lunch time. Why are you here and not with your friends" she asked. She went back to twirling her hair, a nervous habit.

As they made their way over to a book shelve on the adventure section, Skyler looked at the titles as they searched. Well, Skyler searched as the girl leaned on shelve. All the titles seemed interesting, but as he took them out and read the back, they didn't seem like the title. Interesting...

"So I think its lunch time. Why are you here and not with your friends" she asked.

Skyler looked at her with his blue eyes, his stare gazed at her greenish-blue eyes. Before he looked back to the shelve, Skyler shook his head while saying.
"No friends..."

(Sorry for short post.)

Mew frowned. Maybe he was shy that he had no friends. Mew had no problems making friends. She was out-spoken and loud mouth. She had to remind herself that not all people were like her and her old friends. Party girls they were called. She was sad that she had to give that up still. "I can't picture having no friends. Are you shy? Maybe we could be friends" she said. She only heard him said a few words but he seemed nice. Mew had to make nice people her friends. She couldn't go out partying every Friday night anymore. Maybe that's what her parents hoped when they sent her away. She hoped she could make friends being nice, something she wasn't.

(That's Ok)

As Skyler shuffled through the shelve looking for a right book for him to read the rest of his lunch, he was about to she her smile that she once had, fade into a frown. Skyler never likes when a girl, or really any of his friends cry/frown at him. It always makes him hurt inside.

Turning to look at her with his soft eyes, He notice she was about to speak to him. Placing his ear up and read to hear, Skyler watches her eyes closely hoping it might give a sigh on why she is sad.

"I can't picture having no friends. Are you shy? Maybe we could be friends" she said.

Now knowing why she was frowning, Skyler smiled. Hes been by himself for so long, he hasn't realized how it felt to have someone you can trust, rely on. It faded away when his sister went missing and all, but 1 friend left him because he wasn't himself. He lost the other because he moved away. After that, Skyler never made friends again. Hes been by himself this whole time so coming to this school wasn't new.

He sure did feel lonely, but hes been feeling this for a while now and soon he didn't feel so lonely anymore. Skyler eyes focused on hers, thinking of words he could say to her that would describe all of it at once.

Skyler shook his head, hoping she would figure out that he wasn't shy.
"I've always been alone..." His words came out with sorrow, but in his eyes you couldn't tell if he was feeling sad inside.
Smiling at her, Skyler said his last words carefully.
"I wouldn't mind, but I don't even know your name..."
