Mandy walked into the lounge, grapped a drink and sat down.
Man, sure are a lot of people here.

She looked around and saw that Chad and another girl, named Jessica, or so she thought that was her name. Another boy was looking around as well.

Mandy stood up, fixed her white polka dot dress, and walked over to the music stereo to see what was playing. She set down her drink and started to look through the CD's.

"Lets see if there's any good music..." Mandy mumbled to herself.

With his drink at hand, Deacon took a sip of it. "Wow.....good stuff." He looked over towards the entrance to see another girl walk in. She was quite attractive, at least in Deacon's mind she was. He watched as she walked over to the stereo. He got up from his seat and slowly walked in her direction to approach her. Trying to get a conversation started, he spoke. "How's it goin'?"

As Mandy was looking through the music she heard rather than saw someone come up and asked her how it was going.

"Um....okay I guess." Mandy said, trying to remember his name but couldn't so she introduced herself instead.

"Im Mandy." She said flipping her waist-length mane over her shoulder to get it out of the way. She looked around again.

"Dang, Chad's crazy to throw one of these." she said softly, lifting one of the CD's into the air with her mind, and put it in to the stereo and pressed play. Loud rock music filled the air.

Deacon just watched as the telekinetic girl used her power to insert a CD into the stereo. As rock music engulfed the area, Deacon put a smile on his face. "Ah, so you're into rock. Awesome."

"I'm Mandy."

"Mandy, eh? I'm Deacon. A pleasure to make your acquaintance." Deacon looked over to Chad then looked around the rest of the area.

Chad smiled as someone took his service in getting a drink. He also smiled as Mandy came walking in.

''Mandy''? Chad stood up. He was not that far from her. ''Hey, what are you doing here''?

"Likewise." Mandy said softly, listening to the music. She looked around once again.
"Dang, I need something to drink. Its hot in here." Mandy thought to herself.

"Hey, do you think you could make me one of those drinks?" She asked Deacon, pointing to his drink.

"So...uh..what do you do for fun, Deacon?" Mandy said kinda loudly to be heard.

"Hey, do you think you could make me one of those drinks?"

"Oh, sure thing. Just a second." Deacon went over to the bar again to fetch another drink. But it wasn't for him. It was for Mandy. She seemed to want one after all. He rushed back to her and handed over her drink.

"So...uh..what do you do for fun, Deacon?"

"Well, you seem to enjoy rock. I do too. I also like swimming, playin' ball, talkin' to people, partying, obviously that's why I'm here today." he answered. "What about you, Mandy?"

"What about you, Mandy?"

Mandy thought for a moment, took a sip of her drink, her face was scrunched up then softened when she realized what it was. then she smiled and took another sip.

"I dont play very many sports. I didn't have time after my folks died. But I like to take walks by the lake and do somethings like reading a book."

Mandy shrugged.

"...I like to take walks by the lake and do somethings like reading a book."

"Ah, sorry to hear that....so you're more of the conservative type, eh? That's totally understandable." Deacon took a few more sips of his drink then squinted his eyes from the flavor. He'll get used to it eventually.

...so you're more of the conservative type, eh? That's totally understandable."

"Well, I kinda had to be after my parents died, but enough of me. Excuse me I need to go to my room and finish a report." Mandy said softly.

She walked away from Deacon, walked over to Chad, thanked him for the party and walked out of the room.
