He managed to duck low enough that he dodged the first and the second only skimmed his shirt, he jumped back quickly as to dodge any new strike or blow that might come his way. He wondered if Jira was going to do this all day.

"Figure out how to beat this." He said coldly as he lunged forward at him and then made a full on what looked like slap with the claws easily growing even before he jumped back meaning this really was un-dodge able however he might be able to block it or try to run with it but no telling how long the second option to work, and Jira did say this was dodge training after all.

Mez knew this was a dodging practice, not a fighting practice. He tried his best to dodge keeping in mind this was training and he'd probably learn the proper way to dodge such a attack after. He didn't know if anything had changed in Jira's mind nor did he suspect anything. He was the same simpleminded Mez, no change, simple as a bluejay.

"Idiot." He said stopping before he was hit, "just because I tell you to dodge doesn't mean you have to, if we were really fighting and all I told you to do was dodge I could have easily killed you in a second." He said disappointed in Mez's action

Mez nodded, "Okay so dodge and block. Okay..." He made a note in his mind that this was dodging and blocking now. He readied for the next attack, he wondered what'd it be. He looked at Jira wondering why he was helping him. Mez was glad for the help, but didn't understand the person's reasons for helping.

He saw he wanted another attack and did so the blood like claws made to knock the weapon away...this boy still wasn't getting it...though he had to admit his dodging skill wasn't bad...he would enjoy training him...

The chain was firmly gripped to his hand, the rings acted as a chain. He held it up to catch the claws using it as a shield he rather enjoyed this fellow even though he was a bit violent and weird. He wished he has normal friends who were guys and not a mute and a blood person. But he decided that they were good friends nonetheless.

Jira just stood their that one hand out just making swipes and slashes very very quick in fact it was speeding up considerably making it harder and harder to dodge
