The creature slowly marched it's way out. Causing most trees to fall over by force. It revealed its self to be a three headed bear.....a ten foot three headed bear. It roared at them, trying to establish its dominance. It was there, staring at them with all three heads. Waiting for them to make a move.

Maddie backed up further, body in position ready to run. She was not fighting that thing. She...just no way! She didn't have the strength for that!

Bandit remained in his spot, ears back and lips pulled up to display his sharp teeth.

Mike stood his ground. Hell he even flipped the bear off. He was staring at death itself and he flipped it off. The bear roared at him, it's radioactive breath filling his nostrils. "You see Maddie. I never told you about this punk because I knew you wouldn't come. I don't really need you to do anything though. I just need you to watch."

Maddie was pretty sure at this point that Mike was insane and that maybe she shouldn't be spending her free time with him anymore.

Behind that fear, though, was anger. She didn't like being lied to.

She snarled, more at him than the bear, but in the moment who could tell the different?

Mike saw a small glowing object in the back of the roaring middle head so he shoved his metal hand down its gullet. The middle head tried to close its jaws and destroy the arm. Mike's arm slowly tried to leave. It slowly pulled out a large crystal from the mouth. It was stuck though in the jaws of the bear. "A-A little help please?"

Maddie whined before running forward and swatting at the bear's middle head. It's left head flew and hit her, causing the lynx to fly and land on her side.

Bandit jumped in, his maw closing around the middle bear's throat and he wasn't letting go anytime soon.

The middle head roared at the jaw at its throat. Letting Mik's arm escape the grip of the jaw. He looked around. Quickly rushing to Maddie's side and holding her in his arms. The bear started thrashing furiously, ramming agains trees. Swatting at the air. It was pissed.

Maddie let go of the bears throat as soon as Mike's arms were supporting her.

Bandit jumped from side to side to dodge the bears moves as he backed, trying to distract it.

Maddie wiggled free of Mike. She was surprisingly graceful when she landed on her feet and hissed, loud and wild, at the bear.

The bear slashed one of the claws at Mike, it went right at his cheek. It didn't go far enough to leave lasting damage like scars but it was still bleeding horribly. Mike couldn't help but yell in pain. "AHH! THAT.....THAT SON OF A BITCH!" Mike gripped onto the bleeding side of his face for dear life.

Maddie wondered why they were remaining here. Hadn't Mike gotten the nexus?

The bear must have senses Mike's distraction, because it surged forward, swipping again and throwing its body at the man. Bandit snarled, jumping out of the way, but Maddie jumped in to slash at the mutan's eye. It didn't do much expect piss the creature off, who then turned to Maddie.

When it sprinted at her, Maddie ran around a tree. She was lucky to be smaller and quicker, not to mention have many obstacles to dart around. Otherwise, she'd be dead right about now.

Bandit latched onto the bears tail and held tight when the bear spun around trying to find a way to get the dog.
