Amber quickly climbed the many wooden steps to the highest tower she could get herself to. She had a flashlight within her grasp, but the light it supplied wasn't exactly enough... since it was nearly pitch black up in the towers (it being in the middle of the night and all). Luckily, though, Amber was able to manage herself. "Hope there's stars out. It'd be a complete waste of energy to climb all the way up here... and find a big ol' blank stretch of sky." The girl murmured between breaths. Well, what do you expect? It was hard to catch your breath when you were running up a flight of stairs.
Finally reaching the top of the tower, Amber dropped her school bag to the floor and grabbed the telescope that had been safely hidden away inside it. "I've had this thing for exactly how many years, and am just now going to use it?" The blonde mused to herself, giving only a hint of a smile as she began to set up the telescope. "Good thing there's-" Amber paused, and arched her brow as she slowly turned around. She couldn't see very well, but there was no doubt in her mind that someone was climbiig up to the tower...
