A New Start

It was somewhat late in the afternoon, after four o'clock, and the sun was already going down. The young man jogged up to the beach, and once he got there, looked around. The hood of his black sweatshirt was down, and his arms were hanging loosely at his sides. It was cold, but he tried not to let the temperature bother him... he was just happy that he'd made it to this place without getting lost. He'd already been to the academy to get his belongings put away, and the first place he had wanted to go to was the beach.

Nicolas stuffed his hands into the pockets of his pants, and walked onto the sand, right to where the water was. He stayed a good distance away from the ocean, though, not wanting to get wet and catch a cold. Even so, he smiled, hoping this academy would turn out to be for the better. But, even if it didn't, he was going to try and make the best of this place. It was a new start, after all.

Tsim sat on a washed up log near the beach wearing a white hooded sweat shirt the sleeves past his hands as he sat there watching the waves alone. This hood was up hiding his white like hair and a black baggy army pants covered his legs and hid his shoes since it went down so far a short sword hid in his pants as it every so often hit his leg but he didn't care. A dagger also was held right in his sleeve hidden from those he didn't want to see

Nicolas noticed someone else out of the corner of his eye, and turned his gaze toward them. Well, it looked like he'd already met someone... which he supposed was a good thing. The kid looked to be a few years younger than himself, but who cared? He walked toward the boy, and stopped walking once he was about a few meters away from him. "Hey there," he greeted.

Tsim looked up but didn't say anything and made no move to infact. He just blinked a few times before looking straight at the waves which kept colliding with the sand. 9

Well, that was kind of rude. Nicolas was sure that the kid had heard him, since he'd looked in his direction, but then why hadn't he replied? Could he talk? Or was he just not sociable? Or, of course, there was always the fact that he didn't talk to strangers. Either way, he still figured he could still try to talk to the boy.

"I'm Nicolas," he introduced.

Tsim didn't say anything but looked at him again before looking away and didn't make any expression. HIs eyes left Nicholas and then hooked on the blue of the ocean and nothing else

Still no answer? Oh, well. There was still no reason for him to leave in his opinion. "Are you always this quiet?" Nicolas asked. "Or do you just prefer not to talk to strangers?" He couldn't help asking, and there wasn't a mean or annoyed sound to his voice; he was just curious.

Tsim said nothing ever still not even bothering to look at him this time. Instead he just looked infront of him leaning back on nothing but staying balanced so he wouldent fall back and hurt himself
