A New... Pet?

"...three... four... five..." Kendi sighed as she finished counting the money from escorting someone for the evening. It was actually surprising how many people liked having a Naga like herself as arm candy while the strutted their stuff around town. Though that might also be the fact that she also took under the table stuff as well, but that still made Kendi feel just the slightest bit alone. Among all these people of the streets, the high rollers, the bar goers, the party animals (some almost literally) and she still felt like she was missing something.

As Kendi slithered along in her baby blue belly dancer outfit which when along splendidly with her pink scales and hair. All the while matching her eyes she couldn't help but shiver at the cold air. Drawing moisture out of the air and placing small beads of water along her skin and scales Kendi began to warm herself up. Before she got moving again she felt something different on her scales and looking back she saw something strange. a blob of some pink semi-fluid/solid was pressing itself against her scales of her tail. "Well that's new... Um hello?" Kendi moved her upper body around to examine the blob more closely without moving her tail as to not disturb what ever this was. "You wouldn't happen to be intelligent at all would you?"

What ever this creature was, it looked adorable to Kendi. She smiled warmly and felt the part the creature was on beginning to grow colder slightly faster than the rest of her tail so she increased the ammount of warming water in that section. While she did this Kendi coiled her tail under her, only barely moving the part the little creature was on and she moved a little bit farther from the center of the side walk so others could walk by without her getting in the way of others.

Once she was out of the way she again spoke to the creature on her tail. "I'm guessing you were a little cold out here by yourself huh? I don't suppose you have an owner or someone taking care of you that will be worried if you're out and about would you?" Kendi paused and waited, though now that she thought about it... could this little creature understand her?

As Kendi watched the small puddle of pink, that was actually very closely colored to her own scaled, and she giggled a little as she watched it for a moment. It seemed to be spreading out for a moment before it stopped. Like it was thinking about something before it moved with surprising speed and launched itself deeper into the coils of her tail causing Kendi to laugh as the feeling of the slime moving across her scales tickled.

Some people looked at her weird and walked around her giving her a wider area around her as a precaution. But soon as Kendi felt the little slime settle down Kendi moved her tail so she could look at the little adorable pink pool of slime. "Here little one, I think I might have something left over from my snacks." Reaching into her purse Kendi pulled out the last strip of jerky that she had bought recently and brought it close to the slime waiting for it to take the meat instead of trying to drop it on the little slime.

Kendi smiled as she saw the slime creature take the bit of meat from her fingers, there was a little bit stuck onto one finger as it retreated. Was it residue? Kendi brought her finger up to her face and looked at it curiously. She looked around at the people walking around her and she figured none of them saw the slime. So with a shrug and to satisfy her curiosity she tasted the slime. It tasted sweet and thick. Like how she heard people describe as honey. Was this creature made of honey? Looking down at the slime she gave another smile. "I think I'm going to call you Honey Drop. Now I'm going to take you home with me, you are just to adorable not to."

With that, keeping the portion where the slime was coiled as best she could, and warming it comfortably for the slime. Kendi began to make her way home once again. She was going a bit slower than usual with part of her tail holding the slime but she was making steady progress towards the large hot tub waiting for her when she got there.

Kendi felt the little slime moving around on her tail, it still tickled and it made the Naga woman giggle as she looked back to see the adorable thing looking at her with curious eyes. She did speak in a comforting and soothing voice while she gave the slime a smile. "We are heading home little Honey Drop. I have plenty of food for you, and it will be plenty warm for the both of us."

The pink naga girl's pace was smooth and curvy but steady. It didn't take long for her to get to her apartment building, along the way she made sure to keep giving Honey Drop little pieces of food to keep it calm and possibly to help it bond to her... if slimes did that. She wasn't quite sure, she had never heard of anyone having a Slime as a pet, maybe she was the first. But it seemed to not be trying to run away and she was thinking that maybe if she kept feeding it and taking care of it that Honey Drop would see her as their 'owner'... maybe.
