It seemed that William and Briallen meshed well enough, because after their brief meeting Briallen had already gotten a key to William’s dorm room. She was definitely getting some looks while they were heading toward the dorm—probably because she was ‘the new girl’…or maybe because she was still in nothing but her sports bra and spandex shorts. Some students were even trying to get her attention—but all Briallen cared about was following William up to the room, so she ignored them entirely.

Once they reached the room, Briallen was eager to get inside. She unlocked the door, lugging her luggage behind her as she stepped inside and took a good look around. It was bigger than she expected, which was a plus! The room was also so spotless and clean that it almost looked like no one lived there—it was too…perfect. Briallen was guilty of being a bit of a slob back home, but it looked like she was going to have to clean up her act.

“Yooo we have our own bathroom? That’s awesome—I thought it was gonna be communal. I always thought of dorms as being real tiny and compact, but this is almost like a legit apartment.” She put her luggage and backpack down in a corner of the room for the time being. “I like it. Kinda reminds me of home.”

<div align=center>The boy smiled brightly, it felt strange to have someone else in his room, though. At least the other bed in the room wouldn't look so sad and empty anymore, his bed was perhaps the only slightly messy looking thing in the room, it was evident he'd used it recently, the covers were ruffled and creased, the pillows were slightly skew-iff and a little teddy bear was lying upside down near the foot of the bed. William's things were set neatly out on a chest of drawers at one end of the room, little cologne bottles and moisturizers lined up neatly along it, as well as a few other little bottles of things that were clustered at one end. The way Briallen was dressed didn't really bother William at all, despite the strange looks she was getting.

There were other things in the room that looked a little out of place compared to everything else, a hoodie that looked just a little too big to be William's, and a cell phone on the side that was probably far too fancy to be his. He glanced to it, frowning for a moment and murmuring something underneath his breath. Though he smiled at the girls comment about bathrooms.

"I don't think I could deal with communal bathrooms..." He frowned a little, "I can barely take my clothes off in front of my boyfriend, let alone complete strangers..." He rubbed the back of his neck, laughing nervously and clearing his throat. She was right, they were lucky to be able to have such nice rooms. "Make yourself at home... Uh... If you don't mind though, could you keep things... Tidy?"

ooc; we'll get a couple of posts in before we let Jenni post, just so it's not all rushed ah uwu </div>

“Ehehe, I’ll do my best,” Briallen replied to Will’s request of keeping things tidy. She was definitely going to have to watch herself. But, damn, she felt like her bed looked –too- tidy. It obviously hadn’t been used in a while. Well, she was certainly ready to change that—with a short running start, Briallen grabbed the edge of the bed, lifted herself until she was totally vertical, and then let herself flop on the bed. Even the bed was comfortable! Starlight Academy definitely treated their students well.

She stretched out her body as she lay on her back. The soreness from kicking that soccer ball as hard as she could over and over was starting to settle into her muscles.

“You can’t take your clothes off in front of your boyfriend? That’s adorable,” she said with a big grin on her face. As probably evident by her current state of dress, Briallen was not shy about bodies at all. Even at a young age, she wasn’t afraid to get naked with other girls…among *ahem* other things. Rolling onto her stomach, Briallen rested her head against her hands and lifted her legs up.

“So, I’m sure I’ll get to meet the boyfriend at some point. Gabe, right? What’s he like?” Despite her tomboy appeal, she looked so girly in that moment—her chin cupped in her hands, and her legs kicking in the air.

<div align=center>It made the boy happy to know that she'd at least try to make the effort for him, William would most likely end up tidying double fold anyhow, mainly because it was more of a habit than anything else. He tidied when he went to Gabriel's dorm, regardless of how hard the older boy had tried to tidy before. "Thank you." He chirped with a nod, smiling warmly and tilting his head to the side. Though the smile switched to a small frown, thinking about her words. "Well..." His brow furrowed, "I mean... I have... Y'know..." He cleared his throat, and ran a hand through his hair. "We have uh..." The boy blushed hard and cut himself off, apparently that was far too embarrassing to talk about. "He's... Awfully persuasive." He laughed nervously. 'Persuasive' more likely referenced Gabriel's looks among a few other things.

Bill assumed that would be true, Gabriel had left things here, so he assumed he'd be coming back at some point. The boy shrugged, "he was here last night." He returned softly, "he'll probably come back at some point... I don't really know where he went." Lessons, he assumed. William frequently forgot that Gabriel had to go to lessons, too, the other boy skipped them so often to hang out with him that... Oh dear.

Briallen was a pretty girl, even from Bill's point of view, a pang of jealousy rattled through him that wanted to be as pretty as that, but he didn't say anything. What's he like? William had to think about that question for a moment, "he's a cute idiot." His brow creased again, "smarter than he looks, though." Gabriel was more or less the polar opposite of Bill, but he supposed that was why they worked. He shrugged, "he brings me out of my shell, I guess. Still an idiot, though."</div>

Briallen was right when she assumed that she was going to get to meet Gabriel soon, in fact he was on his way back to Bill's dorm as she had been asking William questions about him. Gabe hadn't heard anything about Briallen, he wasn't aware that she was going to become Bill's new roommate. Bill hadn't mentioned something anything about somebody moving in when they had been together last night, so Gabe had no idea there was going to be someone else in the room, apart from Bill, when he got back.

Gabe walked in to hear the last part of William's sentence.
"Hey! I am not an idiot." He laughed, before actually realising that there was another person in the room. He probably should have picked that up when he had heard Bill talking to someone but he hadn't noticed. "Oh! Hey there," Gabe smiled, and shook the girl's hand. He couldn't help but notice that she was rather attractive . She also seemed friendly. "It's nice to meet you." Gabe chirped, and he meant it.

Even though Briallen was indeed very pretty, Gabe didn't feel his usual pang of jealousy when he met William's friends. For some reason he didn't feel as if she posed any threat to his relationship with Bill. However he was rather curious as to who she was, he'd never heard Bill mentioning her before and she didn't look familiar to him.

William’s shyness was so cute, Briallen was tempted to pinch his blushing cheeks. She wasn’t used to talking to someone so shy about relationships and everything they entailed. Ah, if William was a girl, Briallen might have been tempted to take him for herself. But he was a boy, so it would never happen—no matter how cute or girly a boy looked, she just couldn’t fathom being in a relationship with one.

Then someone entered the room, proclaiming that they were, in fact, not an idiot. Obviously it had to be the boyfriend.

“Ohh, busted,” she teased William, before turning her attention to Gabe.

“Hey, I’m Briallen! Nice to meet you,” she introduced herself as she shook his hand, before rolling off the bed and standing up. Holy crap was he tall…and William was so small compared to him! She found that pretty adorable. Seemed to be a bit of an ‘opposites attract’ relationship, she suspected. Seeing the couple right in front of her actually gave her a little pang of loneliness. Back home, she would constantly surrounding herself with girls—but here, she just wasn’t sure…

“I saw William’s ad for a roommate, and thought we’d be pretty compatible,” she explained to Gabe. “I have really overactive senses, so I needed someone real quiet and calm so they don’t go berserk and make me pass out all the time.” She shrugged slightly at the talk of her powers. She certainly didn’t like mentioning them, but at the same time, she felt like the people she would be around her should be aware of it. So, if she passed out in front of them, at least they would know why.

“Also I’m like, super gay, so you have nothing to worry about from me,” she added, flashing him a thumbs up.

<div align=center>William's shyness was more of a problem to him rather than anything else, it stopped him from doing an awful lot of things. He panicked in crowds, he panicked around new people, he even panicked around old friends from time to time. It was awfully inconvenient, for both him and a lot of other people. William's gender wasn't really very well defined. It confused him for the most part, sometimes he felt like a boy and wanted to do boy things and wear boy clothes, other days he felt exactly the opposite. He wanted to do girl things and wear girl's clothes.

He started when Gabriel came in, squeaking and glancing over to him. He forgot he'd left the door open. Briallen had done more or less all the explaining that needed to be done. Handy for Bill. "You're an idiot." He mumbled, a slightly spiteful tone in his voice. He most likely didn't mean it, judging by the little smile that turned up the corners of his lips. "You left your cell phone here." He stated.

"And your jacket." He yawned, kicking his shoes off and swinging his legs up onto the bed, his eyes flickered over to the older boy, accompanied by a small, sweet smile that was more or less entirely characteristic of his face. "And some other things." That smile shifted to a slightly more mischievous one as he spoke, and one eyebrow flicked up.</div>

'Ohh, busted.' This girl seemed to have a good sense of humour as well, which made Gabe think that he would like her. He thought that perhaps Bill and himself would have a mutual friend, seen as in the past them meeting each other's friends had never really gone so well.

"Briallen." Gabe repeated, he hadn't heard that name before. "I'm Gabe, but," he shrugged a little and pointed at Bill, "it seems he's already told you some things about me." He laughed, "I hope they were nice things."

"I am not!" Gabe defended himself. "I meant to leave those here," he said simply, taking a seat beside Bill on the bed. Gabe giggled at the last part of the list of things he'd left behind. "Ssh, thought those were a secret." He glanced meekly at Briallen. Though she didn't seem like the kind who would have minded.

'I saw William’s ad for a roommate'. "Oh?" Gabe propped his chin onto his hand and glanced curiously at William. The boy hadn't told him he'd put up an ad, "I didn't know you were looking for a roommate?" Not that William had to tell Gabe every detail of his life but he couldn't help feel a little bit disappointed that Bill hadn't mentioned anything about it to him beforehand.

'Also I’m like, super gay, so you have nothing to worry about from me'. Gabe gave her a nod, it was good to know she wasn't a threat. Though how did she guess what could have been running through his mind? Perhaps Bill had told her that Gabe was a jealous person, he didn't like the thought of that.

Woops, did Briallen say something she shouldn’t have? Gabe was giving William a certain look that suggested that. She could have a big mouth sometimes…but it’s not like she could take anything she said back now. So, she would just try to keep the mood light.

“Of course he said nice things about you!” Briallen replied to Gabe as she bounced back down onto her bed. “He likes spending time with you, you bring him out of his shell—cute stuff like that.” She grinned. It reminded her of when she had a few shy girlfriends that would say the same stuff about her. So cute. Then they mentioned those ‘secret things’ that were left behind and she giggled.

“Ohh secret things—how devious~” she teased. Nope, she was definitely not shy about that sort of stuff. Actually, she enjoyed those kinds of conversations—whether with guys or girls. It wasn’t even so much the subject content as it was being comfortable enough with someone to be able to talk about such personal matters.

Raising her arms up above her, Briallen stretched out until she heard a small crack in her spine. Then she let her arms rest and crossed her legs.

“So what do you guys do for fun around here?” she suddenly asked. “I’m pretty psyched about the nice sports field, but I’d like to know what else is around. I don’t even know what’s in the city or anything.”

<div align=center>William shrunk back into the corner as conversation progressed, a steady blush creeping across his features along with a small, embarrassed little frown. He found his hands knotting themselves in the hem of Gabriel's shirt, and a second later found himself squashed to the older boy's back. He hadn't even recalled moving over there. "Devious?" He squeaked, peeking over the other boy's shoulder and shaking his head, "I'm not!" He retorted, his legs bringing themselves either side of Gabriel, knees pressing against his sides. "I'm innocent and sweet." He murmured, voice muffled into Gabe's shoulder. Whether that was true or not, it seemed just so right this moment.

William got the feeling Gabe would end up staying here again, either that or they'd end up back in his dorm. Bill didn't really want to leave his new room mate alone on the first day she'd moved in, he felt that was just a tad unfair. He crawled away from Gabe again, curling up at the top of his bed instead, head settled on the pillows. What do you guys do for fun around here? The boy frowned for a moment, he didn't really know. It made him realize that he spent almost all of his time with Gabriel, either that or he was asleep.

William didn't often go to the city either, there was nothing to do when you didn't have any money, and William never had any money. He shrugged, "I don't know... I mostly nap and screw around with Gabriel." He blinked, "in fact, that's all I ever do."</div>
