"I totally get it. This is just my second time on the station here. I'm completely enjoying myself. It's different, but in a very good way."​

Levina still had some of her drink left, as she was slowly drinking and enjoying it. It was harder for her to get drunk, so it was never a goal of hers. That ended up leading to a slower drinking rate. But she smiled as he ordered another drink. Meant he was at least staying around a little longer.​

"You write home about things here? What sorta stuff and to who?"​

"I bounce between the station and the island about once per week sans exceptions like this.", with a sip of his just-filled glass, Yvarn thought for a little while on how to simplify what he writes home about. "Mainly findings about Earth itself: history, entertainment samples from various kind of media, language studies, fauna, flora..."

Levina furrowed her brow as he shone about what he sent home. None of it was interesting to her but she found a easy to bring some humor into it.​

"You aren't like planning a takeover of earth or something are you?"​

The smile appeared slowly at first, and as she found his eyes with hers it grew into a full blown one showing she was just joking.​

At Levina's question, he was stoic at first, but soon he cracked a rather bizarre smirk, asking "When did you figure it out?", and let any possibility of fear if any boil within her, before laughing and saying "I jest, I jest, we are pacifists who got curious on a planet who happens to share some Gods at least in name. I'm sure you ever heard of names like Anubis, Bastet, Thoth..."

"There are hints that the Gods of my people did reside on Earth at some point, after all the Egyptians were quite advanced for their time period and... Our Gods were pretty much infighting children/teens back in those days, according to Thoth's writings, so they may have been sent here as part of a punishment to learn to cooperate.", Yvarn chuckled at that.

"Well if Earth is any indicator, I don't think they ended up getting along."

She smiled again as she bit her bottom lip while continuing the conversation. It was interesting how all the worlds, while being completely different, were all connected in some way.

"So what brings you out tonight? This doesn't exactly seem like your scene."

"My Gods surely got along after their extended stay on Earth... If they stayed here, however, humanity would have been changed forever, and The Mother would have probably perished from loneliness.", Yvarn was just guessing all that, but perhaps it's for humanity's sake that this all happened? How to tell.

Levina's next question surprised him little to nothing: "Wanted to have a change of pace, try something new for once. I've never had the chance, until today, to go to a Club. The music is a little too much on my ears, so I magically muffled it to nicer-but-still-loud levels. Don't want to deny myself the full experience."

Levina caught herself vibing along with the music again as he spoke of it. It was almost like he had reminded her that it was there.​

"Hey, we are kinda similar. I finally got the chance for some personal time up here. But I knew right where I wanted to go."​

She closed her eyes a bit feeling the music pulsing through the air.​

"Mhm. But I can't see how it might be loud to some."​

"Your work must really take quite a lot of your time, eh?", to a degree Yvarn could understand, after all his own studies took a lot of his time. Watching her feel the music, he was familiar with how Levina should be feeling the music.

But how to explain to her how he felt it? "Hm... I'm used to quieter environments, have been close to loudness before so I know my own limits. That and I feel it in the air more than inside of me, you might imagine."
