Private Finished A Minor Annoyance

Prae was a determined eater. She had a goal, and that goal was to eat her food while being as 'normal' as possible. Using utensils as she took bite out of bite of just some food she had grabbed at random. She honestly didn't care for what it was called, all she had to do was eat it so the school would see that she did, in fact eat food and was going about a normal day.

While she was only half way through her meal she heard the sound of someone failing to put away their trash and walking her way. Prae figured it would be another nobody wanting to try and intimidate her, or befriend her, or some other useless goal that had nothing to do with Prae serving her master. She was only partially right.

Looking at the person coming up to her, Prae's mind filled with latent information about Aedes. Even as they spoke to her Prae lost interest. "Aedes, I am currently eating my lunch. That is the point of this period of time, and friends are a waste of time. They do nothing for The Master, they do nothing for myself. They are a hindrance." Prae than began to recommence eating at a determined measured pace.

Even as she ate Aedes was still talking to Prae, asking her what made Master so special that Prae would follow them. "Counter point to your argument Aedes. What gives you purpose? What guides you through life? You say that you live for yourself. But what does the truly mean when you are only simply pestering you siblings for your own amusement." Prae quickly finished off the rest of her meal and with that done she stood up holding her food tray.

She walked over to the trash can, to see the discarded drink box on the ground. With a sigh Prae leaned down picking it up she threw it away with her own discards before placing the tray in it's proper place. "Aedes, to me my Master is my guiding light and my direction in life. Without them I am nothing, and if anything threatens them..." Prae turns to look at Aedes her body prepped for a fight. "I would end everything for them."

"I do not care what you do Aedes. I only point out that living for one's self is pointless." Prae honestly didn't care, she had only spun the question around to try to drive her sister away. Apparently that wasn't going to work. So now here she was threatening her sibling while trying to get back to her school work because that was why she was in this school after all, to get an education like the law said so she would not disappoint her Master.

"When I am damaged, Master heals me. When they decide that I am no longer of service to them, than I am given to a new Master. And Aedes, I am nothing. We are all nothing, compared to Master. What you are implying is that any of us have any self worth outside of service to the Master. We don't, and maybe one day you will realize that truth and stop being so immature." Prae shrugged and turned around heading towards the hall ways of the school. There wasn't anything she could do to stop Aedes from following her.

"I do not care how robotic I sound Aedes. I am just responding how I see things and you are the one taking them and interpreting it as you will." Prae actually stopped now and glared at her sibling. "And so what if I feel that way Aedes, you know what I can do. How I'm not as fragile as some of our other siblings. If my Master requests me to, I would do anything, for them. You do not seem to understand that. My life is what My master wishes of it. If they wish that I cease to be than that is what I will do for we both know the only thing that can truly end me is our own family and time. And I will spend every gifted moment I have serving my master. In this world of no bodies, tell me. When you are gone, who will remember you? If you only serve yourself you will only be a fading memory that others will forget in their own time. Mean while for me, my service. My Life means something to someone, I will live on in more than just a faded memory of a pain in the neck."

Prae was actually practically growling right now, the growl almost sounding like the chitterings of hundreds of legs. "And tell me Aedes, in a fight, in this hall way, with limited space to escape. Who would win. You? Or me? Who could if I was ordered to, or if i do as you suggest and life for myself, eat you right now and serve my master for longer. Tell me if doing things for myself would be the wiser option at the moment."

Prae could feel something hot running through her veins, but she was restrained mentally by her bond to her Master. She would not do anything that would jeopardized her Master's image by doing anything illegal. She could feel her aggravation at her sister right now, the chitterring didn't stop as Aedes backed off. As Aedes tried to explain herself to Prae, the centipede stayed where she was, her expression not changing. "All I hear Aedes, is lies, falsehoods, and to be honest. It sounds to me like you're trying to lie to yourself."

"Aedes, those the burn brightest burn out first. You'll be forgotten faster than any other sibling if you don't find something true to live for. And stop bothering me, if you threaten me again I will take it as a threat upon my Master." Prae was still squared up and ready to go for a fight still. "Unless you have some other reason to be around Aedes. I will find someone in authority, and let them know that you have threatened my existence. As those who are well read on my record would know, seeing as how the rest of you tried to eat me."
