"I was not so lucky, unfortunately. My power is that I cannot die - I found this out by dying, unfortunately." That was firmly in the realm of too much information, but Anastasia had never been very good at filtering that sort of thing out. "Supposedly I am also the child of winter, although I'm not entirely clear on what that will entail." Beyond that her father wasn't her biological father, and that she was good with colder temperatures.

In fact, she really didn't look upset at all, considering how traumatizing it must have no doubt been. "It is one of the many reasons I plan to support a club for newcomers. For many of us, magic was the stuff of children's tales before our arrival here. It can be difficult to get used to." She'd adapted well, but she'd also been raised in an environment that encouraged adapting. Others were not so lucky.

"I am curious to know what projects you plan to push forward in this next year... and what you plan to do when you graduate, if you feel comfortable sharing that information with me." Mostly she just wanted a general idea of where Morgan was going to be heading. Politics?

"That is unexpected. I assumed you would be interning with... well, with whoever runs the island." She wasn't entirely clear on how things were run. It was too small for a president, and wasn't the headmaster somewhere in charge?

"That surprises me. I did not think you would be interested in journalism, but I suppose first introductions can be misleading." Because it was still their first introduction.

"I should go and begin on my campaign - I will also need to speak to Marina, as you recommended." She paused, then gave a little nod of her head. Another handshake maybe? No, that was probably excessively polite. A goodbye would be enough.

[thoth=http://i.imgur.com/9Ld6coP.png]Ahhh cellphones. Some people loved them, some people hated them, and Anastasia... well, she used them, but she forgot them half the time. Her cellphone was several years out of date, and she was forced to fish it out to check her new number before punching it in on Morgan's phone. It took a good amount of time before she finally passed it back, having texted herself a 'test' message so that she could get Morgan's number.

She stood up, giving Morgan a rare smile. "Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to working with you."

With a small (and slightly awkward) wave, Anastasia left - back to her dorm, to make a proper poster design to put up. And then, perhaps to find Marina.

What was it with M names exactly?
