Lizzy

Lizzy softly knocked on Dela's door. Ever since the whole mess with Hector, Dela had effectively ghosted Lizzy. Not that Dela wasn't justified in doing so, but Lizzy had hoped Dela would have at least hear what she had to say, rather then just ignoring her and running back to Hector.

So, now Lizzy stood outside Dela's dorm. It was getting near to christmas so what better time to get Dela a brand new sewing machine as a "I'm sorry for possessing your boyfriend" gift, complete with a gold colored bow. Lizzy had even gotten a card in Braille, as well as a few new cloths for the machine. Hopefully Dela liked it.

"Come on Dela, answer the damn door." She muttered under her breath, knocking on the door again.

For a long while Delaney was exhausted. A level of exhaustion she hasn't felt since well. . . the last elder being being fought. Also, her second victory against one. Which, kinda helped, especially as she adjusted to her new normal of being awake 24/7. That took some adjusting, but she was finally feeling like herself again. Ready to talk about what happened and there were quite a few people she n-

She looked towards her door, trying to remember if she was expecting anyone today but made her way over all the same. She opened the door and kinda knew who it was on the other side. "Lizzy." Delaney said, unsure how to feel. On one hand, she was still pissed, on the other. . . "Alright, come in." Delaney said and moved aside so Lizzy could enter her room.

Lizzy

Lizzy had been about to just say screw it, and leave everything outside Dela's door, when it finally opened. "Yeah. It's me." She said with a sigh. "You look... different." At least it seemed like Dela was talking to her now. Baby steps.

"I.. uh. Got you something. Merry Christmas." She said, handing the sewing machine and cloths to Dela. "Figured you could use an upgrade, but if you don't like it I can give you the receipt and all that."

Delaney snorted, "So I've been told." When informed her eyes had turned solid, fathomless black her first thought was 'wicked' and the second 'I'm metal as fuck now'. Hearing that her hair had turned white was. . . okay? Didn't stop her from dying it. She took a seat on the edge of her bed, ready to hear whatever Lizzy had to say.

"Oh?" Delaney felt the objects handed to her. When she figured out what it was her face was a mix of shock and excitement. It wasn't some clunky older model machine, it was sleek and compact and Delaney couldn't wait to get her hands on the manual to start learning-

She schooled her face into something more neutral, "This doesn't absolve you." Delaney said, because that had to be made clear. "Not completely." She added after a moment. Lizzy couldn't buy forgiveness, but Delaney was mature enough to know that wasn't exactly what this was. "You hurt Hector just as much as you hurt me. And it did hurt. . . a lot."

Lizzy

Lizzy smirked when Dela looked the machine over. She seemed to like it so far, so it seemed they were off to a pretty good start. Dela's face going neutral earned a frown though not that Dela could see it.

"Aw, what do you mean I can't bribe my way out of of trouble?" Lizzy asked, teasingly. "But yeah, I expected that." She'd stand in silence as Dela told her off for the whole possession thing.

"I know, I know. I should've stayed out of it. And I'm sorry for trying to break you guys up. For hurting you. Really." She had been through this song and dance before. First with Rhett, then Rowan, and now Dela. Honestly, she just wanted things to go back to the way they were before.
