After reading, Corbin smiled ruefully under his scarf. A kindred spirit, he thought and chuckled to himself. He didn't really realize that she looked as fragile as he was. He supposed having to stare at his reflection all day, he was starting to forget how to truly differentiate the healthy from those who aren't. He wondered if that was something he should be worried about in the future. He should probably learn how to see the differences if ever anything serious happens. He does hope that he just had a lot in his mind right now to be able to judge anything base on appearances alone.
He watched her as she wrote something down for him once again. A sudden thought occured to him that since they were both mute - chosen mute but mute nonetheless - maybe he can talk to her in more comfortable manner than writing things on boards or on tablets.
Tamara , he read. As he finished reading, Corbin didn't bother to pull his board back and instead place his right hand on his chest before swinging it down to his left and tapping it once in some sort of x shape. He then proceeded to spell his name.
"My name is C - O - R - B - I - N"
He then paused before showing her his name sign. He hoped that she could understand him. The board was courtesy of other because Corbin knew that not all people knew how to sign. But signing was definitely an easier way to communicate and he was always happy to find someone fluent in sign as he was.
