He'd let her steal the bite, chuckling and kissing her cheek. "Because you look so cute while blushing," he'd help himself to another bite, enjoying the sweetness of the cake.

"I don't know......seeing you hyped up on sugar sounds kinda funny," he'd say with a small grin. "See sugar doesn't really affect me, or any foods really, so I can just keep eating," he'd take another bite, though he intended to let her eat the majority since she was enjoying it so much.

The vampire would wrap his arm around her. "Though you may not be able to sleep of you eat so much sugar," he bet she was kinda cute hyper though.

"Rmm... honestly if you give me any more sweetness I think you will make me sick." said Amber as she gives him a poke in his tummy, after a lil giggle she resumes in serious tone "Ah but seriously... I think I'll get sick if I have any more sugar. So how about we pay for the bill and call it it night. Let you stretch out those wings for me hrmm?"

He'd chuckle. "Yeah let's get going," getting the cheque he'd lead Amber from the table, he'd pay for the meal, which was a tiny bit expensive but he didn't mind. "Should we go for the tallest tower?" he'd ask with a smile.

They'd exit the restuarant and he'd stretch his wings. "Have you ever been flown before?" he'd ask, wrapping his arms around her and kissing her. "I think you're going to like it."

He'd gently lift her into his arms, and his wings would lift them up, he'd go slowly letting her adjust. He'd take them straight up at first, the city lights shining below them. "Whatcha think?" he'd ask as his wings flapped to make them hover in place.

Amber nodded and skittered just behind Nathan as they leave the restaurant. When asked about flying to the tallest tower, she wasn't sure that was also the same tower that she lived in. She was certain she lived in either the tallest or second tower in the city... or was it the third tallest?

"Uhh... maybe not the tallest building... but sure! Just... uhhh... don't drop me babe."

After they shared their kiss, she was lifted up, her legs swung around to find find the ground. As they went higher, Amber closed her eyes as to not sicken herself from how high they were. As she dared to peek an eye open, she marveled at the nighttime sky.

"Ohhh wooowwwww! Its... beautiful up here..." remarked Amber, whom then made the mistake looking down "AHHHH! PUT ME DOWN PUT ME DOWN NOW!"

"It's ok," he'd tell her in a calming voice, leaning his forehead against her. "I got you, I got you," he hadn't wanted to scare her, but he supposed it was to be expected from someone not used to flying. "I'm going to lower us ok? I'll go slow."

Nathan would start to lower them, adjusting his wing movements. "See, nice and slow, just keep your eyes on me hon," he'd say with a smile as they went down.

He'd stop at a more moderate height, hovering again, his wings flapping just enough to keep them steady. "You ok?" he'd ask, concern in his voice.

The moment they landed on the ground Amber felt she could relax. But now she was just EMBARASSED for freaking out like that for no reason! She wasn't even that high of the ground! She climbed up tall trees and structures before and never felt a fear of heights in her life but somehow with her feet not touching the ground... just brought up a primal fear that she was falling. Now she felt like dummy.

"I-I'm okay... just... gah I'm sorry! I don't know why I freaked out like that!" apologized Amber as she buries her face into his chest and gives him a tight squeeze around his torso.

"Maybe we could take the stairs or an elevator up next time." she mumbled into his shirt.

"It's ok hon," he'd kiss the top of her head. "Flying isn't for everyone," he'd hug her tight. "Yeah, next time we'll take the elevator up to the roof," he was just relieved that she was ok.

Gently lifting her chin he'd give her a kiss. "We can still go for a walk under the stars," he'd suggest with a smile, "we can look at those pretty lights that have been popping up."

Nathan would take her hands and give them a gentle squeeze. "Either way, being with my beautiful girlfriend makes the night amazing."

Bashfully smiling, she takes his and interlocks her fingers with is.

"Yeah... I'm all for a nightly... once again I'm sorry for panicking ealier. Next you want to take me flying I promise not to scream. Anyways, gets walk while the night is young yes?"

Having had such an amazing night, Amber talks a walk into the streetlight lit sidewalk and walks with her boyfriend hand and hand.

He'd walk hand and hand with her, the stars shinning above, the street lamps lighting their way. "You have nothing to apologize for," he'd give her hand a gentle squeeze. "I'm on a date with my amazing girlfriend, I'm happy either way."

The vampire would stop as the got past the large buildings. In the water ahead they could see the strange yet beautiful lights that have been appearing. "I wonder what's causing them.......they're pretty though.....pretty colors."

Nathan would turn to her, looking at her. "Not as pretty as you though," he'd take her hands, giving them a squeeze, looking into her eyes, before finally leaning in and kissing her.

"Yeah but..." Amber let out a quite sigh, still embarrassed over her freak out but... she knew that Nathan was right and should stop apologizing.

The two then made their way to the nearby waterfront to observe the spectacle of glowing waves crashing into the shoreline. It was strange but magical phemonon to watch.

"I think its caused microscopic algae. I read of similar that happens in the narrow reality. But from the newspaper article no one seems really sure if its natural or magical." answered Amber, demonstrating her book knowledge.

Her face glowed red when told once again she was pretty, then like clockwork she reached out for to receive his kiss. As their lips locked and their arms tied around each other, one of Amber's hands crept up and light scratch the back of his neck with the tips of her fingers. She then releases herself, pull her head back to regain her breath and shakes from the feeling of butterflies welling in her stomach.
