A High Dive

Grey sat floating on a rock, staring absentmindedly at the lake. Completely relaxed, he hardly noticed the other students passing by on their own walks and agendas.

I wonder how cool it would be to just bring this rock up there and dive from it...

Grey was definatly not the normal person. He was ovrly outgoing, and often did reckless things, purely becuase he figured they would be fun.

To make his day all the better, no one could actually say he wasn't doing anything. He was practicing holding his powers out for long periods of time. Endurance training is what he called it.

From his headphones, one could hear Linkin Park if they had actually got close enough. Although, they'd have to basically be on top of Grey, and last time Grey had known, that wasn't exactly considered normal. Though, he might do it if he was curious enough...

"Hello there?"

Grey looked down at the girl who had spoken to him. Then at the lizard on her head. Then back to her.

"You have a lizard on your head..." He said rather bluntly, pointing to the lizard.

He lowered the rock a bit, and from his view, it was if he was just standing before the girl.

"And hello" He said quicky, trying not to sound rude, "How are you?

"Who, Archimedes? Yes, I know he is up there. He's one of my very good friends. I'm Enelya Norvayn, and you are?"

"Riiiight..." Grey said as he shook Enelya's hand. His eyes never actually left the lizard at that point.

A lizard as a good friend. That was the first time Grey had heard that one.

"Grey Sliver" He as his rock began to sway slightly in tune with the music, "it's a pleasure"

"I found him, and raised him. Well, I can speak to animals, and plants... Also manipulating plants, too. So, what brings you out to the lake?"

"Eh... nothing really, I was just thinking, and then I got sidetracked and figured it would be cool to dive into the lake from way up there." He said pointing up into the air above the lake.

Her powers were rather obvious with the plant chair appearing. Grey figured it would be his turn to point out the obvious.

"And I can..." Grey didn't finish his sentence, he mearly caused a small, midget sized rock golem to rise from the earth and dance in tune with the music.

Grey was having a bit too much fun with his powers by this point

"Err... Sorry, I was remembering something. Sometimes I think thinking can get the best of you. But then, you have to think about thinking and then it goes in a vicious circle! Strange things we are; humans."

Grey took a minute to comprehend what she had just said.

"You think of a lot of complicated things..." Grey said with a confused look on his face.

His mini-golem was still dancing, without Grey noticing. The song on his Ipod changed, and so the golem dissolved back into nothingness.

Enelya was a really nice person, but Grey figured she put a lot of thought into almost everything. Over-thinking could be considered a bad thing.

"So what do you do for fun?" Grey asked as he gripped onto the newly formed rock handles and performed a backflip with the rock for self amusement.
