Enelya chucked, "Yes, I know exactly what you mean, I talk to him all the time, sometimes, he seems more human than well... humans. I named him Archimedes because well, he's my best friend, ever since I was a little girl, and more times than not, he's gotten me out of BIG trouble, he's like my conscience."

"But wasn't Archimedes some math-wiz physicist? Does he help you with your homework?" He couldn't help a grin.

He looked around and realized what time it was. It was getting late, and the library was practically abandoned. "Hey, um... It's getting late. Maybe we should get goin or somethin'. I've still got to do some research." He poked his book with a finger and smiled. "I'm kinda... talked out right now. It's been a long time since I've had a decent, if upsetting, conversation with anyone. I wouldn't object to a walk, though."

Enelya laughed her musical laugh, and gave a radiant smile. Enelya loved his smile, and loved to see him lightening up a bit. Life was too short to be so serious, even if life hadn't been fair.

"But wasn't Archimedes some math-wiz physicist? Does he help you with your homework?"

Enelya laughed again, "Yes, he was, but MY Archie only pretends to be smart!" She gave him a nudge, and he pouted.

"Hey, um... It's getting late. Maybe we should get goin or somethin'. I've still got to do some research."

Enelya gasped. She had forgotten all about her Herbology book, and even forgot why she was in the library in the first place. Even so, she replied "Yeah, I guess it is, isn't it?"
"I wouldn't object to a walk, though."

Enelya smiled gently towards Kotah, "A walk, would be lovely." She picked up her book, and walked towards the shelf she had gotten it from. She could always come back and get it.

Kotah stood and left his anatomy book where it was, since he had completely forgotten about it. He kept his Curses book, however, and leaned it against his hip. "Found any nice places here? Honestly, the library is the first place I looked at." He finished with a laugh.

"If you don't mind, maybe we can just walk to our rooms together. I've got a lot of studying to do, and all this chatting has made me a tad tired. Sounds odd, I know, but you're talking to the guy that, well, talks to himself." He smiled again, jokingly.

"Found any nice places here? Honestly, the library is the first place I looked at."

"The lake..." she replied distantly, "is lovely this time in the evening.." she laughed at his comedy.

She laughed at herself too, that he seemed to be loosening himself, once hard, and unsocialable, he seemed, was now loosening his grip on being alone. She liked that, and was eager to find out where this friendship was going. She liked spending time with Kotah, apparently, since time just seemed to whither away without notice.

"If you don't mind, maybe we can just walk to our rooms together. I've got a lot of studying to do, and all this chatting has made me a tad tired. Sounds odd, I know, but you're talking to the guy that, well, talks to himself." He smiled again, jokingly.

Enelya grinned, "Well, it looks like I'm talking to myself, if that makes you feel any better. And I wouldn't mind walking to the dorms together. I agree, today has been a bit unsettling, but then comforting at the same time...I'm glad I met you." She looked away, and gave him a small smile.

"The lake..." she replied distantly, "is lovely this time in the evening.."

"Tomorrow, then." He nodded and smiled.

Enelya grinned, "Well, it looks like I'm talking to myself, if that makes you feel any better. And I wouldn't mind walking to the dorms together."

"Nah, you're getting a reply from someone else's conscious, so it doesn't count. He grinned and started heading for the door, waiting for her to join him.

"I agree, today has been a bit unsettling, but then comforting at the same time...I'm glad I met you." She looked away, and gave him a small smile.

He nodded quietly and sighed on the inside. "I'm glad, too. That I could meet you, and help, despite my lack of knowledge." He looked to his feet as they walked.

"Nah, you're getting a reply from someone else's conscious, so it doesn't count."

She laughed, "Well, I should still get brownie points for trying, shouldn't I?" she stuck her tongue out playfully. And walked beside him, Archie in her pocket.

"I'm glad, too. That I could meet you, and help, despite my lack of knowledge."

She smiled at that, she hadn't known him for very long, but still, she felt closer to him, that any other human she'd ever known. She put her head on his shoulder as they walked, and yawned.

"Why do you cover your eyes with your hair? They are so beautiful..." she asked him, half yawning.

She smiled at that, she hadn't known him for very long, but still, she felt closer to him, that any other human she'd ever known. She put her head on his shoulder as they walked, and yawned.

Kotah glanced at her from the corner of his vision, without moving his head. His eyes glowed oddly in the fading light, mixed with a sad glance. He wasn't sure what to do in this situation. He really should comfort her, considering what had happened, but... human contact wasn't his favorite thing in the world. He took a brief, hidden glance at his thumb.

"Why do you cover your eyes with your hair? They are so beautiful..." she asked him, half yawning.

He wasn't too sure what to say. Why, though? He just... did. It felt right. "I don't know," he admited. "Dramatics, maybe, adding to the persona people classify me with, which scares them off." He frowned and muttered under his breath, "And good riddence."

He wasn't jerking away, but then again, he wasn't touching her. Did she make him feel uncomfortable? She wondered, but was still too tired to lift her head.

"Why won't you touch me?" she asked, half consciously, but was still aware of what she was doing.

"I don't know," he admited. "Dramatics, maybe, adding to the persona people classify me with, which scares them off." He frowned and muttered under his breath, "And good riddence."

Enelya looked up at him and smiled, "You didn't scare me."

She clutched his arm as they walked, she wanted to feel safe, and he gave her a little glimpse of that, so she tried to hold on to that. But she wasn't sure if he was all too willing to be comfortable with that.

"Why won't you touch me?" she asked, half consciously,"

He physically winced. Putting an arm around her, he muttered an apology and whispered, "You're talking to the guy that had little to no human relations during his entire life, and wouldn't complain about it..."

Enelya looked up at him and smiled, "You didn't scare me."

"I'm glad for that...." He paused. "But it's not a secret I don't like people very much," He glanced in her direction. "Until I get to know them, atleast. I just..." He sighed. "I'm not used to physical contact. Don't take it personally... please."

She liked having his arm around her, she felt safe, like nothing could hurt her, the firey images of her past placeted, and everything seemed okay, walking down the hallways.

"You're talking to the guy that had little to no human relations during his entire life, and wouldn't complain about it..."

She smirked at him, "well then, your talking to the girl who is willing to help you with that."

"But it's not a secret I don't like people very much," He glanced in her direction. "Until I get to know them, atleast. I just..." He sighed. "I'm not used to physical contact. Don't take it personally... please."

She looked up at him, and stopped them from walking. Still, having him hold her. "You seem to like me alright," she added. "I won't take it personally, I mean, I understand." she half smiled at him, letting them continue to walk down the hallway.
