It was a night on the strip, it had rained a little earlier causing the black roads to reflect smudged versions of the various lights. A message had been sent to Dyani to meet a man by the alias of "Flash Mob" in an alleyway.

Attention Miss Dyani,

It has come to my attention that you are seeking a solution to your "unique diet" for the sake of your sweet Soren. Meet me in the strip at the following location tonight, if you are interested.

A hunter knows a trap when they see one, and for some reason Dyani did not think this was a trap.

It seemed more like a different kind of dangerous. The kind that would have her interacting with people her boyfriend and his mother would severely disapprove of. Before Soren, she was free to ruin her long life with consorts that were sketchy and eyebrow raising. Now that the Wendigo was being scrutinized by the full angel and (to a much lesser extend and for more caring reasons) her son.

And yet here she stood, in her human disguise and a long coat, waiting for someone or something to appear. She looked rather out of place in the dark alley, her human appearance making her seem innocent and cute. There was an aura of business about her though, one that made her eyes seem a little more cruel and her stance a little more menacing than most small teen girls in alleys downtown.

After a few minutes, a black colored muscle car could be heard revving its engines at the other end of the alley on the street. The rear passenger side door opened to reveal a man wearing a vest and fedora. On his face was some kind of gas mask with the tube visibly running to a pouch on his side. The man drew a gun as he gestured to Dyani to approach. Once she complied the man would nod as he allowed her to take a seat in the car. Inside the vehicle were three other men, one sitting in the back seat with another gun pointed at her, one in the front passenger seat also with a gun, and one in the drivers seat who merely looked at her. All of these men looked exactly the same as the first one. Dyani would be seated in the back seat between two of them, both of them keeping their guns on her. Once inside they finally began to speak as the car began to drive.

"Miss Dyani, so glad you could come. How was your day? Soren doing well? I apologize for the guns, but I know what you are, and I don't gamble." Said the one to her left, a voice synthesizer causing his voice to sound deep and digitized.

When the sound of engines echoed down the alley, she turned slowly in a way that belied utter lack of caring. Facing the oncoming noise and then the vehicle, she saw figures driving as it pulled up. One got out and motioned to her, obviously not phased by her appearance. Apparently they knew. Fascinating what they had gathered from flies on walls. Dyani strode forward and entered the car at gunpoint, her predator stance still menacing those in the car ever so slightly.

Dyani ignored his questions and opted to respond to his apology, since she really hated beating around the bush, especially with those she didn't trust. It gave up too much information. "I would think you a fool and leave if you hadn't been prepared" she replied quietly. Her eyes watched the figures, noting one could not see what their faced looked like under the masks. For a moment she wondered if they actually needed them or if they were a disguise, but the curiosity passed and was replaced by her throbbing hunger that was fueled by being in close quarters with meat. Fresh human meat. It had been too long. Truly it was good that the men had taken precautions, since she knew the hunger would only get worse.

The Flash Mob clones gripped their guns a little tighter and visibly took aim closer to her head and center mass. The guns looked top of the line, revolvers that obviously fired a heavy caliber bullet. It was clear that no matter what kind of creature from myth, lab mutant, or heavenly or hellish being you were, this human weapon would do more than just sting.

"You look a little tense Miss Dyani.

Relax.

Attacking potential customers is bad for business." They all started speaking, each one taking a turn to finish the sentence. This was a common tactic Felix used to confuse people, to keep them guessing which one was the real Felix. Luckily for him, each clone was a fully functional human, so each one shared the same scent as he did. Good luck to the girl in trying to sniff out the real one.

"I suppose I'll get down to bussiness.

As you know, I've come to you to offer a solution to your 'problem'.

Apparently dear Soren's commanding officer...

Also known as 'His Mom'.

....doesn't really, shall we say, approve of your practices.

I'm offering you a cleaner alternative.

I provide you some cadavers, well preserved of course.

And you don't have to tear Red Riding Hood limb from limb on her way to grandmothers house.

We are on our way to a place where you can see my product for yourself."

Dyani's eyes switched to each one in turn as he spoke, interested by the way they chose to move focus and therefor leaving her no specific target. And no idea who was the boss. She visibly closed her eyes and counted to ten, then opened them. Better. The bloodlust slowly ebbed, but as usual, did not disappear.

She chose not to respond to anything the three had said. Responding would be telling them any of their information was true, when silence just kept her safe and any information they had unconfirmed. Besides, she wasn't there to chat. There was an important issue to be dealt with. After they had finished, she inclined her head once to show she was paying attention, then looked out the window of the car, trying to ascertain where exactly they were headed. She was very curious as to what idea they could have concerning fresh human corpses, but for the moment she stayed quiet.

The car continued along the road until they came to a large parking lot that was empty except for one large meat truck. The car came to a stop next to the truck, the clone on the right of Dyani got out of the car and beckoned for her to follow. After she was out all the clones except for the driver led her to the back door of the truck. One of them put his gun away to open up the door to reveal a freezer room with a human body stuck on a hook in the middle of the room. The body shared many characteristics with the Flash Mob clones. Noticibly, its head was missing and its hands were skinned down to the muscle, no identifying features to lead back to him.

"A human body, minus ID'able features, cloned from me.

I'm thinking $2,000 per body.

$100 extra for each organ if you want any removed.

$500 extra if you want it cut into portions.

Would you like to try a sample?" They said, as one of them offered a container to her, inside it contained a hunk of the meat.

Out she stepped into the frosty night air, her senses changing to adapt to the scents of the outdoors. The truck was close, and she watched every move the goons made as the truck opened. Everything seemed to be well, but there was no telling especially when dealing with creatures or people like these. With guns and menacing and fancy talk with veiled threats and promises. The truck door opened.

Fresh meat. Headless and the hands skinned to the bone, but all of the rest of the delicious skin intact. Still relatively fresh, definitely not old. Sniff. A little over an hour. Human for sure, the scent said as much. Not some civilian, it smelled like the men in the truck. Which, she realized, all smelled the same. Clones. Perfect. It was almost uncanny how well it worked, but on the other hand she supposed he couldn't be the only one with cloning abilities in the town, with all the supernaturals. "Where would I collect this body. How often could you bring me new ones. I would" she asked then stated.

Taking the small container, she reached in and took the chunk of meat. She put it in her mouth and narrowed her eyes. The closed them momentarily. It was human meat. Delicious. Her eyes opened and she waited for the answers to her questions.

"I will provide a pickup location.

I can provide new ones at any time if I am available.

You can contact me via this phone number." Felix said as one of the clones handed her a black business card containing only a phone number.

"I hope my meat is to your liking.

And I hope this saves your relationship."

Dyani nodded brusquely and took the card. The comment about the taste of him put a sly grin on her face, then she turned to the corpse in the van. What would happen to that one? Seemed like a waste. Ah well. Card slipped into her pocket, she turned to one of the men who hadn't given her the card. Surely he wouldn't hand it to her himself if there was danger for him in it, so that one wasn't the leader. "What happens to the corpse in there?" she asked, motioning with her head to the meat in the van, then putting her hand in her pocket to hold the card so she was sure it was still there.
