"Oh, wow! Welcome to Starlight then." Petrova said. "Oh gee. I don't remember. A few months though. Since like, February or something." She laughed at her bad memory.

He smiled at her. "Do you like it here? So far you're the third person who's talked to me."

Petrova nodded. "Yeah, it's nice. Do you like it here?" She asked in reply.

"Not so far," he said shrugging. "So far I've left my family, been almost beaten up by a mob, been bit by a vampire, and generally been ignored," he explained. "But I guess now one of those things is fixed."

Petrova couldn't help but feel sorry for him. She gave him a smile. "Well, I try my best. How old are you?" She asked, deciding it might be best to change the topic and try to take his mind off of his troubles.

Petrova cleared her throat and blushed slightly. "This is going to sound sort of weird, but I really don't know how old I am." She said.

"I don't really know. I guess I have amnesia or something." Petrova said with a shrug. "I just woke up in the middle of an alley one day and I couldn't remember anything. So...yeah..."
