She sighed heavily and rubbed her temples. Levina understood the intricacies of business and how even a thought from a single employee can affect the businesses image and profits.​

"You have to be perfect in this business. One wrong saying or move can destroy everything you worked for."​

She looked back up at him with irritated eyes, but ones that wanted him to understand so they could salvage a friendship.​

"Look, we talked in confidence that none of that would have been brought up. But then you had to say something. Why? What did you hope to accomplish?"​

Altizica listened carefully to what Levina was saying but said nothing. They understood what she said and thought that was enough, there was no need to say anything.

Altizica’s gaze softened and became less serious as it was before hand, his usual smile was gone and replaced with a frown. “I want to know why you and Pietro are pretending to be together. That is why I bring all of this up.”

Levina sighed almost defeated. He seemed to at least get the point as to why it almost cost her her job. But he wouldn't let go of her and Pietro.​

"Where is this pretending coming from? We are together. We've been out to dinner together. We are going to dinner again together. He gives me the attention I want. Do you just not want me happy?"​

Her question was almost desperate. Almost as if she believed it herself. But all it would take is one word from Mathos and it would all be done. How good she felt when she was with Pietro could and would be tossed aside if he wanted it.​

I may like to play dumb, but that doesn’t mean I am.” Altizica watched her with an analytical gaze

After the name was thrown out she slipped into business mode. Very matter-of-factly and confident. The questions were rhetorical. She had been happy and enjoying herself. She just wanted him to say it, and then still try to argue against it.​
​
He might have been significantly older than her, but that didn't mean he knew how or what she thought and felt.​

Altizica merely continued looking at Levina. “That is not the point I’m saying, the point is you don’t actually have those types of feelings for Pietro. That has always been the point I am getting across. ‘Well how do you know you’re not me’ is not the argument. Things can be told much through things you don’t say as much as things you do say. That’s the thing about the human body, it reacts even if the person themself doesn’t realize it.”

Levina had been known to be a pusher in meetings. Especially when people started deflecting. This was nothing more than a client being difficult over a price. She knew they wanted the product, just wanted to try to get it at a steal instead of a fair price for what it was worth.​

She crossed her arms and continued to stare him down. The blue haired spit fire wasn't about to let him get out of this one.​

Altizica sighed “Your body did appear to agree that you were enjoying your time but as you said yourself specifically ‘He gives me the attention I want.’ You’re using Pietro as a substitute for the attention you really want from Mr. Sandoval. You are obsessed with Sandoval Levina, I can tell that. Nobody gets over obsessions in a few days.”

Levina let out an annoyed huff. He clearly saw she had been happy, and was still pushing the issue.​

"If you know I was happy, what does it matter? Why won't you just let me be happy for once in my life?"​

She was frustrated and it was obvious. She was bringing up her own past and how she had been miserable in it. Suddenly a lightbulb went off inside her head. Her expression dropped from frustrated to an almost angry one.​

"You speak of obsession like you know it well when it comes to being obsessed with someone else. You keep avoiding the fact that I was and am happy with Pietro. Are.....are you jealous? Are you obsessed with me?"​

Altizica gave another long, exasperated sigh “I’m happy your happy Levina but I just don’t get why you have to continuously lie to me about you dating Pietro. You can be happy and just be friends, happiness is happiness.”

Altizica chuckled a little at Levina proposing that he was obsessed with her. Really? She was trying to switch this on to him? This wasn’t going to happen. “Levina. You should know at this point if anything I am not subtle. If I had an obsession with you, you would have already figured that out. I speak as if I know obsession because I have seen obsession many times. I believe you heard the story of one of my friends Selkiris? He could be seen as obsessive...or at the very least very possessive. This has nothing to do with happiness. You’re trying to make it that happiness and love are mutually exclusive when they aren’t.”
