From so far away, everything was as it should be. What the humans called the Carina nebula, and the star system at the center of it, was still shining. Time had not yet caught up to this world...and it wouldn't for almost eight thousand years. By relativistic physics, her people were still alive, she hadn't been born...and wouldn't be for a very long time. And yet, from her spot on the roof, staring up with blind silver eyes, she couldn't see it. Not right now anyways.
This planet though was promising. Warm, inviting...at least the parts she had seen so far over the past week or so. Earth was made of mostly liquid water...of course there was ice, but it was restricted to the caps. Most of the time, it stayed in vast oceans such as the ones they were surrounded by, or...it rained.
Just as it was right now. Frankly, Cytus looked like a turkey staring into the sky.
The pale blue-skinned being closed her eyes, held out her arms and stretched, getting ready to go back inside. But not before feeling a close by presence. A student of the academy perhaps?
"Who is there?"
The question was simple, emotionless. On the inside however, Cytus was a little bit excited. She had been too shy to interact with anyone on her own time, but maybe now the intrusion gave her something of an excuse to do some talking.
But talk about what, if anything?
