A day too relaxing

Sally was walking down the beach with her feet touching the sand that is suprisingly warm despite it being Autumn. She was wearing her pink bikini and carrying a surfboard and a towel. She found a sunbathing chair placed her towel on it. The sun was shining straight towards it, perfect for drying up (which basically means the towel is pointless). She ran towards the sea and within 0.2 seconds the water was already at the height of her neck. Time to jump on the surfboard. Sally has never been so active before she arrived at the school. Since then, she was more active, thanks to her roommate. She jumped on the surfboard and paddled it towards a wave that is approaching her. Soon these will float up to the clouds and join them. If only I could do that.

As soon as the wave collided with the tip of the surfboard, Sally stood up, struggling to balance herself, and was 'ridin' the waves' for a lack of better words. As she approached the beach, she fell towards the water, but before she landed she stopped in mid air. The moment was fun and exciting, and it would have been perfect had the waves not hit Sally. She didn't care though. The towel will help her dry. She somehow ended up at the seaside, with the surfboard on her hand. She stood up and walked to the sunbathing chair with her towel, dried herself quickly and when the random blur disappeared, she was lying on the chair. "That was fun," she whispered to herself as her eyes closed. She started snoring softly. She fell asleep, despite the chair being uncomfortable.

Moria couldn't help but laugh, she haqd been walking along the beach and saw her roomate wreck on the waves then fall asleep in a beach chair. So she wasn't just lazy only in the dorms. She laughed lightly and walked towards her and smiled mischeviously. She looked at the water and had a idea to wake the girl up. She waded into the water and smirked she readied her powers and sent a stream of cold water at the sleeping girl. She hoped to wake her up so she could help her with her surfing issues. After all the girl hadn't done much all day it was about time she did something without taking a nap.

She waited to see if the girl would awaken. If not then she had no clue how to wake the girl.

Sally was sleeping when a wave of water splashed all over her face. She awoke slowly and saw that minutes had passed. She saw Moria and assumed that she was the one who woke her up. She made up an excuse by shouting "Can't you see I'm trying to get a tan?" completely ignoring the fact that she was already tanned. Thus, she laughed, trying to give the impression that she was just joking, even though she was irritated.

"You do realize you will sleep your life away, then you'll be old and unable to do things you can do now. I'm planning on catching some waves if your just going to sleep fine. Get heat stroke from over exposture to the sun. I'm going to catch waves and live my life and not sleep it away." She said creating a water board with the water underneath her. She waded out into the water bothering not to look back. She wasn't the mother of this girl. She was old enough to make her own decisions even though the girl was foolish wanting to sleep all the time.

Sally quickly got up and sped to the sea, carrying her board. Within 0.2 seconds she was already 'ridin' the waves' for a lack of better words. "You were saying?" she shouted.

She smirked.... "Yeah but I bet I can stay awake longer then you and catch more waves then you can with more enjoyment." She said with a light smirk. She had to insert the word bet in there. She knew a lot of people couldn't pass up a bet a challenge. She wanted to see if this girl could do it and enjoy it more then sleeping. It was a test.

"You're on!" Sally shouted back. She knew that she would obviously lose, but it gave her a good chance to see how long she can stay awake for. Ten minutes? Twenty? She continued surfing to keep herself busy and to add an extra touch she floated slightly into the air.

She smiled, this would be fun. She smirked helping a wave along she stood up ready for a blast. She started to ride it as it got bigger, she smiled she was riding almost in the middle of the tunnel she was only using her powers to make the wave a bit bigger then usual since she was at home in the water. She loved the waves in the sea and ocean she loved to see the changes in the waves.

Sally could see that Moria was enjoying herself, and decided to try going through the tunnel to the other side. Sally however did not know that there was no end to the tunnel, and it would get thicker. Water eventually sprayed all over her, and she lost her balance and fell into the water. Like most people, Sally could not breathe underwater, and struggled to swim. Though she was fast on ground, Sally wondered why she could not go anywhere underwater.

Moria seeing Sally wreck dove in, Moria was fast in the water she used the power from the water to move instead of forcing against it she looked underneath the water for Sally unsure if she made it back up. She hoped she could spot her if she hadn't. She knew how to sometimes locate things in smaller bodies of water but this wasn't a small body of water so only her eyes could.
