Adelina sat at one of the tables, her head laying on the surface. She tapped her fingers steadily, looking at the lake. It was too cold that day to go swimming, and she didn't feel like going out to the cliff or for a walk in the forest. Her gaze slowly turned to the trees; the leaves were turning colors. A sea of red, orange, yellow, and green filled her head and she turned away to look back at the lake.

She didn't feel like practicing her powers, either. She had them under control... except for the occasion when she'd accidentally set something on fire when she was angry.

But right now, Adelina wasn't angry. Just bored. She sighed, still tapping her fingers on the table.
