"Oh so it's like a farm store then?" she asked. That made sense. She guessed that people in this city would have to get animals from somewhere, if they didn't have a farm of their own. Plus it was an island. Though she did wonder how the store got all the animals onto the island. She also wondred why they would also have petting. But she decided she didn't really want to start her own farm; she preferred hunting her prey. Although, if they could plant a sugar stick tree, that would be cool.
In fact, she had to ask, "Zef, do they have trees in stores? Where do they get all their sugar sticks and candies from? Can we get seeds?" She would file away his reply in her head. She had a pretty good memory when it came to food.
When they stopped at the toy store, Minx tilted her head, puzzled. Those animals were very still, and they looked odd. She couldn't smeel them from out here, but their eyes looked dead. Glancing in, she saw what looked like mini versions of those car things that people rode around in. That seemed cool, maybe she could get one and ride around in it in mink form and catch all the squirrels.
The fae nodded excitedly, "No! Let's not go in!" And headed for the door.
