A Colorful Night In

The movie finally started up, and Jii widened her eyes almost cartoonishly when the characters came on screen. She had never seen art like this before, much less an animated film of any kind. She stared at the screen with her mouth slightly open, genuinely amazed. "This is...so...cool! Seriously, great choice Tomo!~" She grinned widely, engrossed totally even though not much had really happened yet. She grabbed a handful of popcorn and got to munching, her other arm lifting up so she could idly play with Tomomi's hair.

It's so soft...but I guess everything about her is soft. That's why she's so nice to cuddle with! Jii giggled a bit to herself, then let out a tiny, comfortable sigh.Comfort...that was the word of the night. She felt cozy and warm in Tomomi's arms, but then again she pretty much always did. "Do you really think I should tell the dorm monitor, though? They are kinda loud, but I don't want to embarrass them...I mean, I wouldn't wanna be interrupted if I was doing something like that, would y-..." She just trailed off at this point, tensing up and holding her breath. A bright rosy blush flooded across her cheeks, and she immediately took her hand from stroking Tomo's hair. "S-s-sorr...y...I don't know why, um, why I even said that..." Why, why, why, WHY would I say something like that with Tomo around, am I crazy!? She's gonna think I'm some kinda pervert...

Jii was almost totally absorbed by the tv at this point, her eyes only leaving the screen to look up at Tomo from time to time. She was completely content in this moment...or, she would have been, but something was nagging at the back of her thoughts. Just a tiny worry that was steadily growing in her somewhat paranoid mind. Tomomi's embarrassment was almost completely covered up by her general happiness, but Jii felt it all the same, and it made her worry. Her ears drooped a bit as she this irrational fear grew, and she finally showed it outwardly with a small frown.

Absolutely terrible with any sort of conflict or confrontation, this fear was growing in her for almost ten minutes before she finally broke her silence. "H-hey...Tomomi? Can I ask you something important?" She was looking down, chewing very anxiously on her claws, she was clearly distressed. "I'm sure I'm just being silly, but...do I make you uncomfortable?"
