A Cold Day of Silence

Moria sat in the forbidden, she had walked there on purpose. She had so many memories in the forbidden and to revisit it alone was so empty. She wasn't who she made herself to be, she hated being alone, but she was afraid. Of what she wasn't sure, she looked at the stream which came from the lake. It was small, but it was water nonetheless. She scooped her hand into the stream looking in it she wondered why water calmed her so much. She played with the water forming a rose, then making the water rose whither and die. She then made a form of a butterfly having it flutter then disperse into petals of Sakura. She loved how water was free formed and could becoe anything with nearly no limits.

She sighed feeling a cold breeze, she knew fall would come, then winter. Winter was her least favorite time of the year, she was always alone, Christmas, Thanksgiving and all those holidays she'd spend alone with a bowl of Ramen and a tv or book. She hated being alone, her birthday was nothing special. She sighed, just thinking about it would make her want to run away to some far off land. Even though she already had run away and still found no comfort in doing so. She sighed focusing back on the water she made a figure of a wolf running then slowly disappearing in the wind. She thought about her "friend" she knew he would never come back. Or care about her. She looked up hearing a russle in the leaves.

Adrian was lost. Neither of his personalities knew where to go, but each had a different idea of what direction to go. His dominant personality (currently his daytime personality) wanted to follow the stream as it would take him to the lake and he knew where to go from there. His other personality wanted to go further away from the lake, as following the lake would take a few hours, whereas going a random direction may be quicker. His two personalities arguing, Adrian never saw a rock and as a result tripped over. WHAM! Ow. See, if you had followed my suggestion, we'd have been home ages ago! That would have been if we had superspeed! I'm telling you, this is the right way! Then, Adrian looked up. Then why are we back at the stream? He attempted to get back up, but then noticed that his knee was bleeding... for some reason, it was blue. Come to think of it, he never bled in his life until now. Both personalities knew what to do: scream.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

The scream was so loud and girly that some might think that a very loud mouse was being attacked.

The loud horrible scream landed on Moria's ears who had thought that maybe some beast was attacking some poor soul. She ran quickly towards the sound soon reaching the screaming little boy. She rolled her eyes, noting there was no beast, no ripping of flesh only a boy with a cut on his knee. She didn't care about the color of the blood, she just stared at him in annoyance. "Your such a baby, I could hear you from 5 miles away if I tried." She said sitting on a nearby rock by the stream. She wanted to annoy him, since he annoyed her with the loud blood curdling scream all for nothing but a little cut.

She crossed her legs one leg ontop of the other, much like a mother would do. She looked at him, "Now Charlie what's wrong?" She said mockingly, He was a boy afterall, and it was known that boys and girls had a small feud going on since they were little up until they "matured" it didn't matter if she was normally mature acting. She wanted to be a pain to this sissy.

Adrian didn't listen to a single word that the girl was saying. His blood was blue. "MY BLOOD IS BLUE! MY BLOOD IS BLUE! HOW CAN THAT BE?" He was almost in tears, but his recessive personality (night) was telling him not to cry like a sissy. Instead, he took deep breaths and said to the girl, "sorry, what were you saying?"

"MY BLOOD IS BLUE! MY BLOOD IS BLUE! HOW CAN THAT BE? sorry, what were you saying?"

"Your a nut, who cares if your blood is blue? It's just blood your still alive." She shrugged, "besides you should know your blood color by now." She smirked, "Or are you that much of a mama's boy that you've never been cut or had any blood extracted from you?" She said with a light snicker. She poked him, "Seriously, if your gonna make a ruckus like that you'll draw all the vampires, and other creatures out and maybe they'll all want a taste of your blue blood." She said with a biteing motion after it.

"umm..." Adrian began. "'That's the thing. I have never been cut. At least, not that I remember. I've suffered worse pain before." He tried to sound calm about this, because he was telling the truth, but he ended up sounding like an immature brat who was showing off. "I'll tell you about it if you can starve for a few more minutes," he said, smirking, unaware that the blue blood was trickling down his leg.

"umm... 'That's the thing. I have never been cut. At least, not that I remember. I've suffered worse pain before."

She smirked, "Bet'cha haven't had more pain than me." She said with a childish grin revealing scars on her arms by lifting her sleeve up. She didn't show more of her scars since it'd get annoying. "I went to reform school, the people there aren't into reforming but abusing." She said bluntly. She also had fresh cuts on her arm, prolly because she was alone sometimes and she'd try to end her life.

"I'll tell you about it if you can starve for a few more minutes,"

"Starve? Huh?" She bent down next to him putting her hand on the cut, she drew the water from his blood forming a scab and making the stream of blood turn to a blue dust. She smiled at her handy work, another ability of water controlers was being able to heal wounds in rapid speed by drying outer tissue faster. Also being able to separate water from other components, it was easy in such small amounts but harder when going through a lot of dirt to get water. Though it could be done just the strain was annoying since it was easier to find a stream than bring it up and lose power.

She sat indian style on the ground, "You really should be more careful, and you shouldn't talk to strangers either. Don't your teachers ever tell you that?" She asked him wondering why the boy was so odd.

Adrain noticed that he suddenly stopped bleeding, and whatever was left either turned into a disgusting blue scab or fine blue powder. "Uhh... thanks. I guess that was your power," he said in a rather confused tone. "Oh, and I already tried not talking to strangers, but you don't make many friends that way. Besides, I could freeze them or burn them if they were dangerous..." he hesitated for a moment. "Uhh, not that I WOULD do that to anyone, especially to a fine looking woman like you."

"Uhh... thanks. I guess that was your power,"

"Ah yeah, I control water, so I can easily separate it or dry it up quickly. So it can speed up the process of scabs and such. It's kinda handy." She said with a light smile. Also if she had want to be dangerous she could dry up one's blood supply. But it'd take too long and they'd have plenty of time to fight it. She knew she wasn't able to pull off such feats quickly. So drowning was usually the quicker route if she needed to dispose of someone who was trying to harm her or someone else.

"Oh, and I already tried not talking to strangers, but you don't make many friends that way. Besides, I could freeze them or burn them if they were dangerous..."

She didn't find this disturbing, though she did learn his powers. Fire she could easily counter, though ice would be different since she was a water controler herself. "I see, so those are your powers? Fire and ice?"

"Uhh, not that I WOULD do that to anyone, especially to a fine looking woman like you."

She chuckled at his uncomfortableness with what he said. But then the last part shocked her. "Fine looking woman?" She said confused, she never heard herself referred to as a fine looking girl or even as a woman. The girl looked at him confused and shocked at the same time. She didn't know what to think or say, she never had a compliment before. Not to mention from a boy around her age. She wondered why he had said that, or if it was just something that he said to girls when he was in a tight spot or uncomfortable. She decided to let it go. "Eh, it's fine if you burn or freeze someone that's evil." She said frankly, ignoring what he said about her looks.

Adrian's recessive personality was very angry. Did you just call her beautiful? Aaauugh! What? I think she's absolutely stunning. And since I'm now the dominant personality right now, I get to make the decisions.

While the recessive personality was thinking to himself very angrily and quietly, Adrian continued the conversation. "Well... it really depends on if they CAN be burnt or frozen. For example, since your powers are water, you could probably extinguish whatever fires I start... oh, and I can only burn stuff at night and freeze stuff at day." He showed her his power by freezing a nearby plant, which was now covered in frost. He felt a little colder.
