Woken from his nap, Ty reluctantly squinted at the ceiling, wishing that he could go back to sleep. His eyelids felt heavy enough, it wouldn't be too hard to close his eyes and try to catch another hour or so. However, no matter how much he tried, he couldn't manage to fall back asleep. The comfortable weight on his chest reminded him that Levi had slept with him again, and his arm came back up to wrap around his roommate, his fingers running gently from his hair down to his tailbone. It had been a day or so since the awkward declaration that Levi was his, and life had pretty much settled back into what Ty thought was pretty normal.
A faint sigh, and Ty turned his head, fading in and out of sleepiness. He wasn't fully awake yet, but he wasn't able to go back to sleep yet either. An awkward place to be, Ty resigned himself to waking up. His hand rubbed his face, feeling the tiny bits of stubble that had cropped up while he slept. Giving up, Ty sat up, nudging Levi off his body and to the side. He crossed one leg under the other, taking a moment to check his phone. He never had any new calls or messages, but he liked looking at the time and cleaning out his email. It made him feel a little more important than usual. He had slept through a day of classes, and one his professors had been kind enough to email him about the work he had missed. Not that he had cared too much.
Dropping his phone, Ty sat back on his arms, a movement on the wall capturing his attention. When he focused on the massive black spot, Tyberius realised that it had arms. And legs. Lots of legs. "Jesus fucking Christ, that's a fucking massive spider." It wasn't a normal looking spider, though. It was massive, and he could practically see the fangs from where he sat. Pushing himself out of bed, Tyberius tumbled over himself to put distance between him and the thing, dragging Levi as he went. "How long has that thing been there?"
