A break!

Enelya shrugged, "Just tell me whats on your mind right now. Are you going to the Fall Festival?" Her eyes closed, and she started thinking about Archimedes, wondering how he was doing. She hadn't seen him in awhile, and was curious about what kind of trouble he could be getting into.

Enelya looked around, noticing the decline of people. Then, she caught note of something bright blue, scurrying across the floor. "Archie!" She got up and walked over to the lizard. She put down her hand, and picked up the lizard, and walked back over to the couch, where she had been sitting. She gave a small grin, and kissed Archie on the head. She hadn't seen him in awhile. Archie began sqeaking in her ear, telling her about the different things he had been up to, and she nodded, whispering back to him.

"Sonlath, this is my lizard-friend Archimedes, or Archie."

She raised an eyebrow, "Did I? Oh my.. I'm forgetting a lot today aren't I?" She sighed and put her hand to her head, shaking it. Archie squeaked a little in a laugh, and Enelya glared at him, silencing him. "Don't mind me... if I fall asleep..." She yawned, and started dozing off..

Slowly, Enelya slipped away into sleep. Away from the lounge, Sonlath, Archimedes, and all her conscious thoughts. Her face was calm, and peaceful, her hair was put back behind one ear, and slowly, she fell into a dream.

Subconsciously she pulled the jacket around her shoulders. She was dreaming...dreaming of her village. She hadn't dreamt of her village since she came to the Academy. It was almost like a renactment of that terrible day. Red, orange, yellow flashes of light, almost blinding Enelya. Screams of nature and humans melded together in one big cry for survival. Enelya's face twisted in pain, but she didn't make a sound.
