She waved, beconing him to follow her, and glided in and out of the trees, making her way to the ocean. She looked back at him every once in awhile, making sure he was still there, and smiled at him gently.

When they had arrived to the sandy shores of the ocean, Enelya sighed. It was so beautiful, they had made it just in time. Enelya sat in the sand and dug her toes into a small hole she had made with her feet. She looked up at Sonlath and winked.

"Isn't it gorgeous? Why don't you come and sit by me?" She looked out once more, and sighed.

Enelya took out her colored pencils and her small canvas she almost always had with her, and started sketching lightly the different areas of color, and shapes. As the night progressed, she started filling in the textures, colors, and blends. She'd send a quick smile over to Sonlath every once in awhile, to make sure he was okay, and then continued coloring. When she had finished, she gently nudged Sonlath, and showed him her quick picture.

"I'll have to paint it later, on a separate canvas, but what do you think? I'll be able to capture the intensity better with my paints, but for now all I had with me were my pencils."

"Can you teach me how?" He asked her his eyes sparkled for the first time as he looekd at the painting in total awe...he had never seen anything so good even if it was a quick painting in his life and it definetly represtented the sunset well

Enelya gave him a big smile, and nodded, "Of course!" Enelya reached into her bag, and got out another small canvas, and handed it to him. "First, you need to get the general shapes of the clouds, sun, and horizon. Don't worry about the colors yet, we just need a rough sketch to work with." She then turned around again and dug through her bag for a pencil, with an eraser, just in case, and handed it to him.

He nodded and began to try and draw the lines but they weren't as straight as hers so it didn't look anywhere near as good...he erased and kept trying again but no matter what he did he couldent get a straight line on the canvas.

Enelya smiled, and looked at him gently, she picked up a straight twig near her, and handed it to him, "here, use this, it'll help you with a straight line."

Sonlath looked at it completely clueless...he hadn't used or seen a ruler before or knew how to draw he usually just watched what the end result was not the current one...he looked back at her with a clueless look on his face

Enelya looked at him with a gentle smile, and took the canvas, stick, and pencil from him. "Watch." She looked at him, then back at the canvas. She put the stick a little below the middle on the canvas, took the pencil, and drew across the canvas making the horizon. She handed it back to Sonlath. "Flip it over, and you try now."
