Stefan watched her grab a ball and nodded when she said she would prove she could dunk. Honestly Stefan was very interested to see how she went about it. It wasn't so much that Kyo could, but how. This was Manta Carlos after all.
Being that he was paying attention he caught the transformation and perked an eyebrow up. So she could control transforming. His smile lit up his face as the ball bounced to a stop.
"That was awesome! From the three point line too!"

He wasn't scared. That was the first thing she noticed. She was so sure that the moment she turned back to face him she'd see nothing but horror on his face, but he wasn't scared. She was smiling again, genuinely this time.

"It's still only two because it's a dunk. I'm not good at shooting from far away."

Stefan noticed a new smile. This one seemed brighter and more natural. He couldn't help but return the smile back to her and chuckle at her comment about it only being two points still.
"Don't need to shoot from distance with moves like that. I bet you are pretty hard to stop."
Being raised around Norse gods and creatures, it took a lot for Stefan to be surprised or afraid of anything close to that. Kyo's shape surprised him in that that was how she could dunk, and not the form itself.

"I wouldn't use it all the time. If I did everybody would expect it." She said, finally smiling wide enough for her teeth to be visible. She'd been hiding them before, but she knew now that he wouldn't be scared. She knew she could be herself now.
She bounce passed the ball over to him from under the net. "Okay, show me your shot if you want me to help you out with it."

The toothy grin Kyo gave brought out Stefan's own full smile teeth and all. He nodded to her a bit in understanding as he walked closer to the goal.
"That makes sense, save it for when you really need it. Keep them on their toes."
The ball was passed over to him as she mentioned seeing his shot. He bounced it a few times and moved to a point a little inside the three point line.
"Alright, but I only barely know what I'm doing."
Stefan lined the shot up and took it. His form was decent and easily had the range, but the arch was shallow and caused it to skip off the rim.

She watched him shoot, her mind clearly all in the game. She caught the rebound and passed it to him again.
"You're fine, you just need to figure out distance better." She said. Her voice was very serious, but this time there was nothing hidden in it. She was serious not because she needed to stay guarded, but because basketball was very serious business.

Catching the pass, Stefan listened with a smile. It was obvious this was a very serious thing to her, and Stefan didn't want to disappoint.
"Ok. Got it."
Catching the pass back to him he bounced it a few times while lining the shot up. Taking another shot, the arch was still shallow but it hit the rim bounced up and dropped into the net.
"Hey look at that!"

She gave him a smile and a thumbs up, running to retrieve the ball and dribble it back over to him.

"You have the same problem I have, I think. Your form's fine but you're not that good at judging distance." She said it matter-of-factly, an honest review of his performance. She passed the ball to him again before widening her stance and holding up her hands.

"Do you wanna play one on one?"

Stefan caught the ball as she passed it to him. Miming cracking his neck as if getting ready, he smiled. He had the size advantage on her. Strength might switch if she changed but he still had his own she might not have been aware of.
"That's not fair. Got to see what I had before challenging me?"
Stefan started to dribble a little bit as he moved up to her. Turning his back to shield the ball he started working side to side to get closer to the rim.

"You saw me dunk, too. That's a pretty big advantage." She snickered and gave him another toothy grin.

"But if you're scared I can stay human." She was relentless at trying to poke the ball away, even without her enlarged arm to give her the extra reach. Clearly the game was something she took seriously.
