Krystopher peeked around the corner again, noting that the secretary behind the Admissions desk hadn't yet noticed him. He had been standing out of sight for almost an hour now, not sure what he should do or say. He'd never had to go through something like this before, always having been home schooled and rarely let out of the family house. Now that he was free, he felt more caged than ever.
The boy figured that the file his mother had put together would do all the explaining he'd need. Krys had looked in it on the trip to the island, noting that she had documented everything he'd been taught and including the Admissions letter he needed. He closed his eyes, missing his mother terribly. If it weren't for the boy's father probably wanting to kill him for what he was, he'd just leave and go back to her.
Bending slightly, Krystopher picked up his suitcase and slowly started walking towards the desk. He might as well get it over with now, maybe they could tell him where he'd be sleeping so he could curl up in a ball on his bed. Hopefully it would be close to the ground. While not terrified of heights, never having been on a plane before hadn't helped make the experience one of his most favorite things ever.
Gently setting the suitcase down, the blonde young man slowly extended the folder he had been grasping the whole time. His hand slightly shaking, he tried to keep a smile on his face though the sweat starting to form gave away his nervousness. Speaking didn't even occur to him, as it rarely did. All in all, he must have seemed like the most awkward boy that had ever stepped up to that desk since it had been moved into the room.
